Mediocre Experience with Heavy Pork Dishes
My experience at this restaurant was pretty mediocre. The menu features pork cooked in many different ways, but there's a lack of vegetable selection, making the whole meal very heavy. The meat in the donburi was quite hard to chew, and the pork ribs tasted sour and salty in a bad way. However, the pork and shrimp toast was pretty good, though perhaps a bit too sweet. I visited on a work day for dinner, and the restaurant was quite empty.

Delicious Food, Friendly Staff, Great Vibes!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food, drinks, and vibes were all 5/5. The staff were incredibly friendly, and I would definitely return. My top favorites were the honey walnut shrimp toast and the bread pudding, which brought back wonderful childhood memories.

Anniversary Dinner Delight!
We celebrated our anniversary here for the first time and I can't recommend it enough. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. While the menu is on the smaller side, there were more dishes we wanted to try than we could order. The Honey Szechuan Chicken Wings are an absolute must, perfectly triple-fried, coated in a flavorful spice blend, and served with house-made ranch. The other dishes we had were just as fantastic: gravy noodles (our second favorite, so creamy), cheese bread, street corn, and pork neck. Each one was packed with flavor yet distinct from the others. We'll definitely be back for more dinners as the seasonal items change, and brunch is already on our list. Can't wait to return!

Excellent Taiwanese Salad Experience
Returning from Taipei, I'm eager to share my experience with the salad I had. It was excellent. I've tried every Taiwanese restaurant in northern California, and found them all lacking in flavor, but this place's salad is an exception! The combination of fried turnips with the salad is a taste I highly recommend to everyone, especially those of Taiwanese heritage.

Interesting Food, Great Vibes
I really like the vibes at this restaurant! They're always playing some old school movies above the bar and it's not too loud. The food is interesting in that it blends a lot of different cultures together sometimes. I'm not sure how I feel about it overall but it is generally very good! Their food can be a bit experimental though so definitely check the menu beforehand if you can.

Tiny Portions, Great Service & Ambiance
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The flavors were present, and the presentation was on point. However, the portions were incredibly tiny, especially considering the exorbitant prices. The service was top-tier, and the atmosphere was wonderful. It's not a bad spot for a small group of friends to enjoy some post-dinner bites over drinks, but I definitely wouldn't recommend coming here for an actual dinner if you're looking to avoid significantly thinning your wallet. I tried quite a spread of their menu, and nothing particularly stood out. Everything tasted as expected, nothing more and nothing less. One notable point is their tendency to use an abundance of sugar in all their dishes, making everything taste slightly sickly sweet. Overall, I had a decent time.

Taiwanese-Approved Culinary Gem!
My experience at this restaurant was SO GOOD. As a Taiwanese person, I can confidently say the food is authentic and delicious. There were moments where I stopped talking just to focus on the incredible flavors – it was that good! We tried the gravy noodles (which were amazing!), the oyster fried rice (pretty good), the pork saam (an absolute must-get and the star dish!), assorted pickles (I'd skip these next time), bean lu rou (just okay, wouldn't order again), and the honey walnut shrimp toast (another must-get!). The bread pudding dessert was also really yummy. This was the best meal I've had in a while, and I would even bring my Asian parents, which is high praise coming from me. I'll absolutely come again :)

Amazing Food and Atmosphere!
This was my second time at the restaurant, and the food was amazing! We found lots of great menu options, and the new summer menu was a hit for my girlfriend and I. The service and atmosphere were also great. Highly recommend!

Modern Taiwanese with Mixed Results
I enjoyed the fun vibe and appreciated the restaurant's attempt at modernizing classic Taiwanese dishes. While a couple of the dishes were pretty good, the rest didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Many of the dishes were quite heavy, which contrasted with my expectation of Taiwanese cuisine's more subtle flavors. This experience left me craving the original dishes instead.

Delicious Food, Great Service, Relaxed Atmosphere
My wife, our two boys, and I visited with a reservation at 5: 15 on a Saturday. We ordered a variety of items, including dessert, and found every single one to be delicious. The shrimp toast and scallop were particular standouts for me. The boys enjoyed the pork noodles and cheese toast, along with the Chinese donut Sunday dessert. My wife really liked the cauliflower. We also highly recommend ordering the pickle party – you won’t be disappointed. The restaurant has a laid-back atmosphere, and our service was great. We will definitely be back.
