My experience at this restaurant was really excellent. I found it to be one of my favorite places in downtown SF, offering healthy and local Mexican food. The vegetarian selection is large, and I highly recommend it for vegetarians. The atmosphere, service, and food were all rated a perfect 5. It was a quiet dinner, making it easy to talk.

We tried to visit twice. The first time at 9 PM, they were already closed. The second time at 8: 30 PM, they wouldn't let us in, seemingly for a private event. We were left with the desire to try it.

My experience at this restaurant was largely positive. The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, served quickly. I particularly loved the Abuela's mole chicken, which was 5/5, spot on with its mole flavor and tender chicken texture. The enchiladas divorciadas were rated 4/5, though I felt they could have benefited from more variety in the filling, like mushrooms. The taquitos were also a hit at 5/5, complemented by a flavorful salsa. The michelada was excellent at 5/5. The ambiance was great – super clean and lively! The noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk. Service was generally pretty good, although there was a slight delay in being seated initially. Despite this, I would definitely come back!

What a magical place to run across! The food was delicious and the building and interior design is spectacular. We had the rolled beef tacos, carnitas enchiladas and salsa and chips, plus house prickly pear margaritas. It was a lovely dinner after walking along the pier. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I, along with a friend, visited Xica last Saturday for dinner. The location is great, and the place itself is lovely with very high ceilings and beautiful painted murals, creating a spacious and peaceful atmosphere. The service was good, and the food was very good. We enjoyed the chips, guacamole, enchiladas divorciadas, taquitos, and chicken mole, all of which were excellent. The tres leches flan was beyond excellent. The wine was good, though the wine list is limited, and they were out of several beers and wines. Overall, I would highly recommend Xica!

As a San Diego resident, I found the food here to be absolutely delicious! The guacamole was spot on, and the fish tacos were perfectly crisp and tasty. The beans were a delight, and the elote was delish! Way to go!

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I'm not sure what these "whyte people" are on, but the food was really, really bad. The guacamole was over salted, and the tacos had a bad taste. Honestly, this is not good.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The entire establishment is gluten-free, which is a huge plus. I've never been disappointed with any of my orders, and the churro waffle was truly magical. The staff were very attentive to my friend's and my food allergies, making it a safe and enjoyable dining experience. The atmosphere was rated a 5, service a 5, and food a 5, with a quiet noise level that made conversation easy. It's a great spot for lunch, with a price range of $20–30 per person.

My experience at the restaurant was super good! We ordered the huevos rancheros and the catch of the day, and both were delicious. 😍

Finding GF churros hasn’t been easy, so I’ve been dreaming about these churro waffles for months. They did NOT disappoint. The kitchen is gluten free, which is a huge plus. I had them for lunch and the atmosphere was quiet, easy to talk. Both service and food were rated 5/5. I highly recommend the Waffle Churros.
