Comforting Congee and Nostalgic Donuts
My experience at this restaurant has been incredibly positive, largely thanks to the wonderful staff. I've enjoyed their chicken congee multiple times, and it has consistently lifted my spirits, especially during stressful or sad moments. It truly felt like sunshine in a bowl. I highly recommend ordering extra youtiao/Chinese donut; they are exceptionally good and bring back fond childhood memories of sharing them with my Mom.

Cute place, amazing service and food!
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful! The atmosphere was so cute, and the service was amazing. The food was great too. I particularly appreciated the very clean bathroom, which was a lifesaver when I suddenly had to use it.

Gem of a diner with Asian flair
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a true gem in the Dogpatch, offering Asian inspired dishes with a cozy, corner diner feel. The atmosphere was rated a perfect 5, and the service also received a 5-star rating. I had no wait time and dined solo. The food was excellent, earning a 5-star rating.

Small Portions, Okay Food
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing regarding the portion size. I found the portion size to be diabolical and not worth the money. When I inquired about the burrito's size, I was told it was larger than my hand, but it turned out to be the smallest burrito I've ever seen. The food itself was just okay.

Good for a Laidback Dinner
I enjoyed the curry udon, which was delicious, though not extraordinary. It's a good place for a laidback dinner. I would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Solid Chicken Katsu Curry, Worth Trying
My experience at the restaurant was that the Chicken Katsu Curry was solid, though not amazing. It's worth trying other dishes as well. The location is convenient.

Great Americano and Food!
I love getting my hot Americano with a little honey here before work. They also have good food for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The service is always friendly and the atmosphere is fun and peaceful!

Disappointing Takeout Experience
This was my first review on Google, and I usually don't care to leave them, but today's experience was so bad I had to. My husband and I had our worst dining experience at Wooly Pig today. We are regular customers because of the climbing gym nearby, but this place is now off our list of go-to restaurants after climbing. We arrived around our usual 8: 30 pm. Sometimes they accept dine-in, and sometimes they don't, which is fine. We ordered our food, including tips. The cashier didn't inform us it was takeout only. We waited until 8: 50 pm only to find out our food was in a takeout bag. While still waiting for our friend's food, I discovered my husband's order wasn't in the bag at all. I told the female staff who was packing the orders, and she then packed and handed it to me. After that, my friend got the food and also found out his bag was missing the curry (he ordered chicken katsu curry). In the end, we did get our food, but with soggy sweet potato fries to eat at home. We wouldn't have ordered them if we knew it was takeout only. For a restaurant where we paid $56 for two, this kind of service is not acceptable. I would much recommend Souvla for after-climb dining. We might get takeout orders for late dinner, but at least they are fast and don't mess up the food.

Amazing Food, Worth the Trip!
I was at UCSF down the street for four days and, at the recommendation of a nurse, got food to go. It was so good we ordered it for four days in a row! The Chicken congee and Chinese donut was probably the best restaurant version I’ve ever had — gingery, and simple but soothing. The Beef stew, shrimp chips, and classic banh mi were also highlights. Thank you Wooly Pig!

Consistently Great Food at Wooly Pig!
My experience at Wooly Pig has been fantastic. I visit this restaurant almost every week, and they consistently meet my expectations. Among my top favorites are the Szechuan chicken, the breakfast burrito, and the katsu curry. The food quality is excellent, and the service is impeccable, both rated a perfect 5. The atmosphere also received a high rating of 5.
