Wimpy's - Reviews

For some reason, they only open on weekends, which makes no sense at all since the park is open every day. A park employee said they only open when they feel like it. Terrible.

We make a special effort to eat at Wimpy's, usually visiting at least twice during our Universal vacations. The Wellington burgers and curly fries are fantastic, especially for theme park fare. On one occasion, when curly fries were unavailable, the substituted regular fries were also good. The availability of Dole Whip is another definite plus. We enjoy sitting by Popeye & Bluto's Raft Ride to watch the fun while we dine. The main drawbacks are the lack of indoor seating and the occasional difficulty in finding any available outdoor seating close to the restaurant.

My experience was quite imaginative! I was thinking about how funny it would be if they put whipped cream in the burgers. I can only imagine the taste; it will taste like heaven.

My experience at the restaurant was mixed. The service was so-so, with employees who definitely acted like they didn’t want to be there. However, the cheeseburger was absolutely delicious! It came with a "wimpy" sauce that was kind of sweet and tangy, and it was fantastic. This was a good size burger for the price, and I would definitely go back. I'd give the burger a solid 9 out of 10. Unfortunately, the fries were not good at all; we didn’t eat those.

If you're at Universal Studios (Islands of Adventure) and looking for a quick and tasty lunch, I highly recommend this small burger stand. After getting soaked on a ride, my friends and I stopped here and were surprised by the quality. The menu is simple, with just a few types of burgers, but the meat is juicy and cooked to perfection. There's no table service, but the shaded seating is perfect for a break. A really great burger that's absolutely worth trying!

My experience at this restaurant was surprisingly good, especially considering it's located inside the park. The food is decently priced for food inside the park, and honestly, it was sooo good. I would even eat here if it were outside the park. The Wellington burger was absolutely amazing. The service was really fast. My only wish is that there was more seating.

My experience at this restaurant was phenomenal! They offer GF buns for those with gluten allergies, which is fantastic. Just ask! Our server, Kim, was incredibly attentive and swift, with a great attitude and brightness. The food was good too!

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The Wellington cheeseburgers were absolutely delish. "Kim Kim" provided such a delight to talk to, and their service made me want to come back for a second helping! 🍔😋🍔

My experience at the restaurant was quite negative due to the service. After waiting 25 minutes for the three people ahead of me, I was informed that they only sell one beer per person. I asked for two beers because my girlfriend was waiting at the table, but they were indifferent to my request. This resulted in pretty bad service.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, primarily due to the best burger at Universal Orlando. It's a hidden gem, off most guests' radars, which leads to reasonable wait times. It's a definite win-win situation.
