Fantastic Wine Tasting Experience!
My friends and I were looking for a fun wine tasting experience, and the staff truly went above and beyond to deliver just that! We had the opportunity to try a variety of wines, including orange wines and sparkling wines, and we learned so much about each one. It was a great experience overall!

Classy Wines and Great Learning Spot
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive. They offer a classy set of wines, which was a highlight. The menu is tight, but the team is very on top of it, making it a great place to learn a few things.
It's also a perfect spot to fit in some bites or enjoy a glass of wine before or after a meal elsewhere. The restaurant is a wonderful part of Belltown.

Mandatory Tip and Card Fee Issues
I'm giving this place 2 stars due to some significant billing issues. They automatically add a mandatory 20% tip, which is applied even to alcohol purchases. To make matters worse, only half of this mandatory tip actually goes to the waiter.
Additionally, there's a 3% charge for using a credit card. I would recommend going elsewhere for drinks. On a positive note, the atmosphere was nice and the wait staff were attentive.

Great Oyster Happy Hour & Dog Friendly!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I love coming here for their dealers choice, and their oyster happy hour is a great bonus. It's also wonderful that they offer dog friendly outside seating.

Cute Photos, Terrible Experience
This place looks cute in photos, but the reality was quite different. It was sweltering inside as there was no AC or restroom on site. The owner was more engaged in chatting with a friend than providing service, and the food took an extremely long time to arrive despite being the only customers.
To make matters worse, the owner seemed to roll her eyes when we didn't leave an additional tip on top of the already questionable 20% gratuity, which felt like an exploit given the poor experience. This "bar" felt like an afterthought to the adjacent Navy Strength, which actually has AC and a restroom, and our bill was even charged under their name. The next night, we went to Cinque Terre, and the contrast in atmosphere, cleanliness, and service quality was stark.
We wish we had gone there from the start instead of Vinnie's. I'd advise avoiding Vinnie's if you want to be ignored and leave with a ruined mood. All the negative reviews here are telling the TRUTH.

Cozy Wine Bar with Great Oysters
Vinnie’s Wine Shop is a hidden gem and one of my favorite spots to unwind on the weekend. It’s a small, cozy place with a laid-back vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The wine selection is fantastic — they offer a wide variety from around the world, with something for every taste and budget.
Whether you're a wine newbie or a seasoned enthusiast, the staff is super knowledgeable and always ready to help you find the perfect bottle or glass. One of the best things about Vinnie’s is their Sunday oyster special — fresh oysters for only $2 each! Pair them with a crisp white wine or a sparkling rosé, and it’s honestly one of the best ways to spend a Sunday afternoon.
The oysters are always fresh and beautifully served. That said, there are a couple of things to be aware of: they automatically add a 20% gratuity to the bill without telling you, and there’s an extra $3 fee if you pay with a credit card. It makes sense in a way — it probably helps them offer the oyster deal — but it would be better if they were more upfront about it.
Still, the experience is worth it for the quality and cozy vibe.

Cute Atmosphere, Amazing Bruschetta!
My experience at this restaurant was delightful! The atmosphere was incredibly cute, creating a charming setting for our meal. We ordered the bruschetta, which was absolutely amazing.
We also enjoyed a couple of glasses of natural wine. I'm eager to return as soon as possible.
