Best Empanadas with Great Veggie Options
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially for their empanadas! They offer a wide variety of clearly-labeled vegetarian options, with the five-pepper manchego and sweet corn being particularly solid choices. I've also heard great things about their salteña beef. For dessert, the alfajores are a delightful sweet treat with their soft texture. The empanadas are heated to order in the oven, ensuring they are always fresh and perfectly warmed. While there can be a wait if the line is long, I believe it's worth the wait.

Delicious Empanadas with a Rooftop View
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially the empanadas! I highly recommend grabbing a few, asking them to be heated up, and then taking them to the rooftop park. It's a great way to enjoy the food with a lovely atmosphere.

Tasty Vegan Empanada Option
My experience at this restaurant was great for a quick bite to eat. I found the Mediterranean Empanada to be quite tasty and it's a good vegan option.

Delicious Empanadas with Flaky Crust
My experience at this restaurant was great! It's a nice option in FIDI for a quick and hot meal. The flaky crust was perfect, and we enjoyed the creamy mushroom filling the most. The food, service, and atmosphere were all rated a 5 out of 5.

Awful Service, No Food or Refund
My experience was awful. I ordered online after work, intending to pick it up before catching my bus. Upon arrival, the employee informed me they never received my order and suggested I might have accidentally placed it at their other location, which turned out to be accurate. The only apology offered was a weak, “I’m sorry… We get that complaint a lot. ” I was not given a refund, nor was I provided with the food unless I ordered and paid again. I showed the employee how their website defaults online orders to the other location, requiring customers to check fine print. The employee was completely indifferent. I left with no refund and no food, having paid $20 for nothing. If this issue occurs frequently, it seems logical to fix the system or have a standard protocol for resolution, such as issuing a refund or providing the ordered food. This was awful service, and I will never return.

Great Empanadas and Wine for a Park Lunch
My experience was centered around enjoying some great empanada options, with a good variety of both veggie and beef choices. The little wine list was also a nice addition. I decided to get them to go and head up to the park for lunch, which was a perfect way to enjoy the meal.

Empanadas with a Twist
I was initially skeptical about the empanadas being reheated in a sandwich-style oven, but my doubts were quickly dispelled. The ham and cheese empanada tasted fresh and flavorful. While the chipotle empanada wasn't to my personal taste, I still recognized its quality. I'd suggest skipping the small side of green herb and oil sauce and asking for more of the orange tomato-y sauce instead. The sangria was of average quality, with mediocre wine and not much sweetness, but it was VERY generously portioned for $9. Those with a low alcohol tolerance should be cautious. The restaurant offers bar seats with a view of the food court and plays nice music. It's also not busy in the evening, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.

Delicious Empanadas with Great Variety
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly positive, centered around their fantastic empanadas. We tried the Argentine Beef, Aji (Spicy) Gallina, and Mushroom empanadas, and all of them were super tasty. I would go back in a heartbeat. The Aji empanada was only mildly spicy, which was a nice touch. My brother-in-law also had the Argentine Chorizo and loved it. We were particularly impressed with the wide variety of empanada options, which was a key factor in choosing this place over others. The atmosphere and service were excellent, both receiving a perfect score.

Tasty Empanadas, Swankish Stand-Up Spot
My experience at this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It's a stand at the bar kind of place, but with a swankish feel, featuring really nice wood countertops to eat at. We ended up here after trying another place for dessert and decided to grab some empanadas to go. We tried two veggie and two meat options. While all were tasty, we thought the veggie empanadas were better. I'd definitely go back to try the other varieties.

Gluten-Free Gem in SF!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a true gluten-free life saver, and the staff was very nice. Finding a yummy GF lunch for $6. 50 is a rare find, especially in San Francisco! The salads were also yummy, and the latte was tasty. My son loves the regular empanadas as well. 😁
