Cozy Spot with Amazing Food!
I had a great experience at Velo Rouge Cafe. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. I ordered a sandwich, and it was amazing: super tasty, fresh, and the portion size was generous.
It definitely hit the spot! It's a cozy spot with great food and good vibes. I’d happily come back again!

Cozy Atmosphere, Pricey Coffee, Overcooked Eggs
As a neighborhood resident, I enjoy visiting Velo Rouge for a cup of coffee and to get some work done. The staff is friendly, and I love the atmosphere. It is a bit pricey, and the prices seem to keep increasing every few months (a cappuccino that was $4 a year ago is now $5.
75), but that's just how it is. My only real complaint is that the poached eggs on the benedict are overcooked 9 out of 10 times, which completely defeats the purpose of the dish for me. I would love it if they could fix this!

Hidden Gem with Delicious Food!
My experience at Velo Rouge Cafe was fantastic! It's a hidden gem in the Inner Richmond. The food was absolutely delicious.
My eggs benedict, served with crispy hash browns and fresh orange juice, was perfect. My friend's classic breakfast plate was equally impressive. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the service was quick, even during a busy morning.
The cafe's bike-themed decor created a cozy neighborhood feel. It's also dog-friendly outside, which made it even more inviting. I'll definitely return for both the food and the vibe.

Long Wait for Lattes
My experience at the restaurant was marked by a 25-minute wait for two lattes. This seemed like too much time, especially with only one worker present. The food, however, was rated a 4, indicating a positive experience in that regard.

Delicious Food and Cozy Atmosphere!
I’m so happy that we picked Velo Rouge Café from multiple others! I’m picky, I really am. But here - portions are decent, absolutely delicious food, well cooked and tasty.
Coffee - extra star for that! Tasty. Cozy.

Casual Lunch Gem Near De Young Museum
After visiting the De Young Museum, we were looking for a casual lunch spot and found Velo Rouge Cafe just a block off Fulton Street. The cafe is small and decorated with bicycle-themed art. Other patrons were enjoying their meals and drinks.
My wife ordered the traditional Eggs Benedict with Acadaco, served with house potatoes, while I opted for the Coppi Turkey Sandwich. Both dishes were brought to us quickly. My sandwich was tasty, featuring turkey, Jack cheese, cranberry sauce, and spinach, and it came with a substantial side salad that could have been a meal on its own.
We both enjoyed our meals and would definitely return. The prices were reasonable for the city, and the location is convenient to Golden Gate Park. Parking was available across the street.
They are open only for breakfast and lunch, closing around 2 or 3 PM.

Generous Portions and Delicious Brunch
I visited this place for breakfast after searching on Google, and the food was very generous and delicious. Many locals visit from early morning, and it seems to be more popular with residents than tourists. I recommend this place for brunch if you visit Golden Gate Park.

Scalded by latte, dangerous heat
My experience was concerning due to the extremely hot latte. I know what over-heated milk is, and this was so hot it burned my mouth. If I hadn't spit it out immediately, I would have required hospital attention.
