Amazing Ramen, Minor Add-on Regret
I recently moved back to the city and had a vivid memory of bone marrow ramen. I used to go to the Sunset district location, but when I searched for it, I discovered there was one in SOMA. I visited the SOMA location on my lunch break, and it was just as amazing as I remembered. I regret not getting the bone marrow add-on this time, but the ramen was still delicious. This is definitely one of the ramen spots I'd recommend to friends. Now that I know the SOMA location is an option, I'll be stopping by every so often to get my fix.

Delicious Karaage and Tempura, More to Try!
My experience at the restaurant was very positive. I really enjoyed the Beef Karaage, Mushroom tempura, and onsen egg. I'm already looking forward to trying the bone marrow and the beef katsu Curry on my next visit.

Delicious Ramen and Bone Marrow
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The ramen was absolutely delicious, and the grilled beef bone marrow on the side was excellent too. The atmosphere and service were both rated a perfect 5, and the food itself also received a 5-star rating. I enjoyed this as a dinner meal with no wait time.

Exceptional Ramen Gem in SOMA
My experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional, likely one of the best bowls of Ramen I've had stateside. I discovered it near my new spot in SOMA and was immediately drawn to try it on my quest for a great bowl of ramen in SF. While beef ramen was new to me, the photos of the ramen with the prominent bone marrow piqued my interest. The restaurant itself is small, with a capacity of about 30 people, featuring 10 bar seats and 4 tables. It offers an intimate, yet not claustrophobic, atmosphere, enhanced by fantastic decorations that evoke the feel of a small Japanese ramen shop. The staff included one or two chefs and a very friendly waiter. We began with the Crispy Mushroom and Beef Karage for appetizers. The Crispy Mushroom was amazing, featuring a light, crispy, slightly salty batter around tender, moist shimeji mushrooms – quite possibly one of the best appetizers I've had anywhere. The Beef Karage was also delicious, but I found myself craving more of the mushroom, which I have ordered on every subsequent visit and will continue to do so. For my main course, I ordered the Traditional Paitan Ramen with black garlic oil, as recommended by the waiter. The bowl arrived quickly, in under 10 minutes, and was immediately appetizing. It was elegantly presented with rich, appealing broth. The first taste confirmed it was a quality, perfectly balanced broth – rich but not overly heavy, unlike some I've had elsewhere. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the other toppings were excellent and paired well. I thoroughly enjoyed every slurp and every drop of soup, leaving completely satisfied and eager to return. This place is a true gem!

Awesome Ramen, Worth the Wait!
The dining area is a little small, but the ramen is awesome and the wait is totally worth it.

Good Food, Terrible Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While the food was great, the service was terrible, with a confrontational waitress. I believe when you are dining inside, you are not only paying for the food, but the entire experience. The poor service I received made my experience here unlikely for future revisits.

Delicious Broth and Curry - A Foggy Day Favorite
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found it to be an amazing place for good food. The broth was incredibly tasty and delicious, and I also loved the curry. It's become my favorite spot, especially when the San Francisco fog rolls in :)

Delicious Food, Cozy Atmosphere
My husband found this place because we were nearby and had read good reviews, so we decided to try eating there. The place was full of visitors, so we needed to wait a bit. The waitress was serious, but perhaps because she was busy. We appreciate when people smile, as it gives a feeling of welcoming. She was attentive, don’t get me wrong, but just serious. The food we ordered was great; I really liked their gyoza with salty soy sauce. The ramens were delicious, and keep in mind that the Traditional and spicy ones gave the same broth, just the spicy one has spice. And yes, the bone barrow was salty and tasty too. The portions were huge; I think it’s possible to share between 2 people, especially if you don’t eat much. But if you are a big eater, you will love this portion. The atmosphere was friendly, with young people, couples, friends, and us as a family. The music wasn’t so loud, thank God. I don’t like places with loud music that you can’t even hear each other, so that was a big + for me. It was warm inside and cosy. So I would definitely recommend visiting this place and have your own experience in there! Thank you 🌸

Fantastic Ramen and Edamame!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. I found it to be a great Ramen place, and the ramen itself was truly great. We also tried the edamame, and to my surprise, it was even better than it sounded. I highly recommend you stop by if you have a hankering for ramen.

Amazing Flavors and Tempura Mushrooms!
My experience at this small joint was absolutely amazing! The broth was packed with flavor, the meat was nicely cut, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. However, the absolute best thing was their tempura mushrooms! I'm not typically a big fan of fried food, but these were incredible. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
