My experience at URBN Sushi was a delightful dining experience. The restaurant offers super fresh fish and creative roll options, making it a perfect spot for your sushi fix. The prices are also super reasonable. The service was great; they provided recommendations and even a free appetizer. I highly recommend the lemon roll, which was the highlight of the meal. It's worth a stop if you're in the area, or even if not.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The place was clean and had a great vibe. The sushi was exceptionally soft and truly delicious. I also enjoyed the rolls, maki, shrimp dishes, and chicken katsu, which were all great. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they did a wonderful job explaining the menu. I would definitely come back!

This was my second visit to the restaurant. My son absolutely loves the miso salmon. On my previous visit, I had the Salmon Poke, and this time I tried the Garlic Shrimp. Both dishes tasted incredibly fresh and delicious!

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, primarily due to the food quality and the subsequent service. I ordered a Philadelphia roll, but the salmon was so tough and stringy that I couldn't even eat it. When I brought this to their attention, I was met with an explanation that I apparently didn't understand what I was eating, which was frustrating given my prior experience with sushi. Instead of addressing the issue or offering a solution, I was lectured about the 'texture of salmon. ' I've never had a restaurant dispute what was in my mouth before. While I understand that bad batches can happen, I do not appreciate being spoken to as if I were unintelligent.

I ordered platters for pickup for my sister's bachelorette party, and it was such a hit with our group! Everyone loved the incredible food. I really enjoyed coordinating with the staff; they were so helpful in creating a variety for all dietary restrictions and ensured we didn't have too much of one thing. This really took the stress off me for ordering and coordinating for such a large group. Thanks again!

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! The fresh fish was incredibly clean and delicious. I must give a special shout-out to JJ; she was second to none. Please go see her – she will take excellent care of you and ensure you are fed well. 🥰

My wife and I discovered this restaurant after moving to La Jolla, and our experience has been excellent. Everything we've tried has tasted superb. During our last two dinner visits, a server named Ana looked after us nicely. We enjoyed starters like the Mixed Tempura Starter and Chicken Yakitori Starter, as well as main dishes such as Jumbo Garlic Shrimp, Chicken Katsu Curry, Garlic Shrimp Dinner Combination, and Seafood Udon. We also tried the Mochi Ice Cream (Strawberry, Chocolate & Mango), which was a bit different. The restaurant is nice and quiet inside, making for a pleasant dining experience.

My first visit to a Japanese restaurant was a FABULOUS LUNCH! I've never been inside one before, but my wife, who travels to Japan often and loves Japanese food (her favorite is Chicken Yakitori), was with me. Inspired by a delicious-looking Chicken Katsu Curry I saw online, I knew I had to try it. We were in La Jolla and URBN Sushi was on our list because they serve both Chicken Katsu Curry and Chicken Yakitori. After a slight delay due to roadworks, we arrived around 2 pm. A friendly server named Henry greeted us with a big smile. We were quickly served glasses of iced water, followed by COMPLIMENTARY bowls of Miso soup and Edamame Beans. My wife ordered the Chicken Yakitori Starter, and I, of course, had the Chicken Katsu Curry. As other customers arrived, my wife's Chicken Yakitori Starter (2 skewers) arrived first, soon followed by my beautiful Chicken Katsu Curry. TOTALLY DELICIOUS! It was my first time trying it, and I now know I love this dish. My wife also loved her skewers but wanted more, so she ordered a Vegetable Tempura Starter, which was also delicious when I tried a piece. THE MENU IS HUGE! We were very happy with our first lunch visit and are eager to explore more of the menu. TOP SERVICE! Henry was great throughout, patiently answering all my questions. WE LOVED IT!

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the music created a fun atmosphere. I even jokingly asked the employees to play Kygo 😂😂😂💚. The portions were really good, and I left feeling very satisfied 👌🏻.

My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative. I literally got food poisoning, most likely ciguatera fish poisoning, from the albacore special. The service was subpar, even though it wasn't a busy time. I strongly recommend against ordering raw fish at this establishment, which is very ironic considering they specialize in sushi. I will never eat here again, and if you're in the mood for sushi/sashimi, I suggest you don't either.
