Not Authentic, Slow Service
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I found that it is not an authentic Japanese restaurant. Furthermore, the service is so slow. This will be my last visit here.

False Advertising and Missing Ingredients
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to inaccurate menu descriptions. I ordered the tempura udon soup, which was advertised as containing shrimp and crab tempura, along with broccoli and sweet potato. However, I only received one shrimp tempura, no crab tempura, and only sweet potato slices. This felt like false advertising, and I was very upset. I would advise others not to spend their hard-earned money here, as it seems you'll end up paying for sweet potato fries in udon soup. It's a really bad situation.

Terrible Experience, Will Not Return
This was our second visit to Unisushi, and it will be our last. Our first visit was acceptable, with average food; we've had better sushi elsewhere. We were in the area and decided to get some food. Unfortunately, I experienced food poisoning. While the edamame appetizer tasted fine, the tomato in my salad was rancid and rotten. I immediately spit it out. By the time we left and got to the car, I felt nauseous and had to wait about 30 minutes to vomit. While we hope this was an isolated incident, it's enough for us to always avoid this restaurant.

Great Experience, Large Portions!
My first time at this restaurant was a great experience. We were seated right away, and the portions were large. The place was clean and the staff friendly. Overall, a very positive visit.

Disappointing Happy Hour and Ceviche
My experience at this restaurant was largely disappointing. I wouldn't bother with the happy hour, as the discounts are minimal, saving only about $1-$2. For my meal, I ordered the most expensive roll, which was $25 and featured ceviche. I found the ceviche to be very unimpressive and quite strange; it was essentially a spicy tuna roll topped with what they called "ceviche, " and it was the weirdest ceviche I've ever encountered 🤪.

Convenient Location, But Mediocre Sushi & Service
This restaurant features nice Japanese-style decorations and is conveniently located in a busy plaza. Unisushi isn't overly crowded on weekdays, which likely explains their efforts to attract customers with a lunch special and weekday happy hour. The lunch specials include bento boxes, teriyaki and katsu rice bowls, yakisoba noodles, and sushi lunch sets, with a choice of miso soup or salad. I opted for the Sushi Lunch Special No. B, which comprised 8 California rolls and 4 sushi nigiri (tuna, salmon, albacore, and shrimp). Unfortunately, the taste was quite ordinary, comparable to chain sushi restaurants. The fish didn't seem particularly fresh, and its texture was just average. The miso soup was very bland, almost diluted. The Sea Urchin (Uni) Nigiri, priced at $19. 95 for two small slices on basic sushi rice, felt overpriced for the quality and portion. Beyond the food, the overall experience was lacking. The men's restroom sink was notably dirty, which was off-putting. The service also left much to be desired; the staff seemed impatient and rushed me to order and pay, making the dining experience stressful. Additionally, there's a 3. 5% extra charge for credit card payments. While the location is convenient, the sushi and service require significant improvement.

Unisushi: A Neighborhood Gem!
My experience at Unisushi was fantastic! I loved everything about it, from the service and the beautiful ambience to the delicious food. The employees were both professional and friendly. The entrees were plentiful, and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. I'm so happy to finally have a neighborhood restaurant that we enjoy dining at frequently.

Expensive Sushi, Poor Quality
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was way too expensive for the quality. It's priced like a top-tier sushi place, but the quality suggests it should be half the price. The service was really slow, even when the restaurant was empty. The rice was dry, and while the sushi had great presentation, it was falling apart. To top it off, the miso was cold.
