This is one of the best spots for truly authentic Japanese sushi. We live nearby and order from here all the time. Just call ahead, place your order, and take a nice little walk to pick it up. Super recommended! 🇯🇵

My experience at this restaurant offered one of the best price: quality ratios I've encountered for sushi in the Bay. The neighborhood is excellent, and they provide outdoor seating. The fish was incredibly fresh. I highly recommend trying the miso eggplant.

My experience at this restaurant was incredibly romantic and cozy, thanks to the low lighting. The sushi was unreal, and I especially loved the garlic butter edamame. It was a total banger!

My experience at the restaurant was positive. The service was very good; they took my order and within 10 to 15 minutes, my food was ready to enjoy. I have seen families with children there, and they seemed to be fine. The price per person is between $10–20. For vegetarians, it's highly recommended, and they have clearly labeled vegetarian dishes. You will need to inform your server about any dietary restrictions. Parking is available as free street parking, though finding a spot can be somewhat difficult. The atmosphere and food both received a score of 5. While I haven't seen anyone in a wheelchair, it appears to be wheelchair accessible.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. They offer a really nice separate gluten-free menu, which even includes miso soup, something not always available. The service was super fast and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely spectacular, especially with their nigiri. The specials menu was so good that I had to have seconds. The quality of their fish is fantastic, and it's priced extremely reasonably. If you like uni, you absolutely need to try theirs. While I focused mostly on the nigiri, the hamachi kama was also absolutely fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back whenever I can!

I had such a lovely dining experience at Umi! It is cozy and low-lit, would be a great date spot. The wait staff was very attentive, the food was very fast, and it wasn't overly crowded (can't speak for the weekend). The fish was fresh & buttery, and the rice was just decadent!

I've visited Umi twice, once with family and once with a friend. Both experiences were excellent, largely due to the friendly staff and the delicious fish. The nigiri was particularly impressive, featuring a good ratio of fish to rice and exceptionally fresh fish. Overall, it feels like a great deal and a fantastic local sushi spot. I would definitely recommend it:)
