I've been a loyal customer of 2 Jacks since childhood, and it remains my go-to spot. My absolute favorites include the snapburger with peppers, the snapper sandwich, the snapper order, chicken wings, and the cheeseburger. The workers have consistently been really cool with me, and I've never encountered any issues with them or my orders. I've even introduced my own children to this place. When they're closed, I genuinely feel upset.

This is hands down my favorite spot for fried foods, everything from fried oysters to fried catfish. They even have a screaming double bacon cheeseburger that's not to be played with. Hurry up and stop by! They are only open from 11 am to 6 pm. I recommend to all. Oh yeah, they only accept cash, no cards.

My experience at this restaurant was marked by good people and good food. Most importantly, due to insulation, they offer good prices, which is what counts the most to me. Parking might be a little tough, but Swing B has a good menu if you're in the area. The food is well-portioned.

My experience at this restaurant was positive, despite its unconventional location. The food was good with nice portions. I personally prefer corn flour over corn meal, which is why I rated it 4 stars. The location is in a less-than-ideal neighborhood, and you'll see locals hanging out, but don't let that deter you. The entrance is simply an open door with no address on the wall. They offer desserts and canned sodas. There was a faint smell of bleach, indicating regular cleaning, which is a good sign. It's a cool spot, and you won't be disappointed. It's take out only.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, largely due to the exceptional service from Vernon. We go way back, having known him since his days at Haight St Tso Jacks, long before Gilman St. The food was a perfect 5/5, and the atmosphere also earned a 5/5. I highly recommend the Red Snapper for lunch. The service was impeccable, rated 5/5, and the price per person was reasonable at $20–30.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found the best fish and chips in San Francisco here. The restaurant has been open since 1972, and in a city so focused on dining, that longevity truly speaks volumes. They offer many varieties of fish and also serve big chicken wings. Everything is fried to perfection! It's definitely worth the trip to the Southern end of the city. I recommend calling ahead so you can walk right in and pick up your order without delay, as everything is cooked to order.

Visually, it might be the most unappealing eatery in SF, with the interior decor seemingly having declined, possibly due to pandemic seating restrictions leading to takeout only. I decided to try it based on positive food reviews, as it's conveniently located near where I volunteer. The fish "burgers" are served as several strips of breaded fried fish on a good-sized burger bun with cheese and typical burger condiments. I opted for the tilapia burger. The menu on Google appears outdated, likely pre-pandemic. Despite the dated menu, the burger, including tax, was still under $8, which is comparable to fast-food chain prices for a sandwich of similar size, but significantly better than any fish sandwich from the major chains. I will definitely return when I'm in the mood for fish again and will recommend it to my colleagues at our shop.

This is a true hole in the wall spot, located in an unexpected place for a restaurant. I'm glad it's still here and it's my go-to spot for fried catfish. The catfish is always fresh. While the seasoning can be a little uneven at times, with some pieces being saltier than others, I can accept that as nothing is perfect. The experienced staff in the back clearly know what they're doing, and orders come out quickly. Everything is cooked to order, which is good to keep in mind. I haven't tried the desserts yet, but I plan to in the future.
