I had a Gyro sandwich for the second time and it was the best I’ve had in San Diego. The pita bread was amazing on it. Overall, a 5/5 experience.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! First, the service was amazing. The staff were very friendly and informative, and the food came out quickly. Second, what I ordered was perfect. The lamb shank was very moist and tender, with a rich and flavorful sauce. The mashed potatoes were definitely home made from fresh potatoes and not lumpy. The gravy was not salty and watery; I just wish they put double the gravy. I'm definitely going back to try other dishes. I think it's one of the long-lasting institutions in San Diego that deserves at least a try. Give them a try!

I was looking for a good Patty Melt, and my previous experience in Point Loma three months ago was not what I expected. However, at Troy's, it was right on and hit all the buttons. I will be going back the next time I want a Patty Melt.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant since I was a kid and have always loved it. My family used to bring me, and now I hope to bring my friends and their kids to share the same joyful experience I have. The owner is a great man, and the food is great. Their Sunday Brunch is a great habit to start! If you’re in the area, it’s definitely a tasty experience.

As long-time customers of Troy's, we've always enjoyed their food. We recently visited using a birthday coupon for $10 off $40. This time, however, our experience wasn't as pleasing. I was only mostly pleased; my beef kebabs were overdone, with one being burnt. My husband was disappointed with his order of ground beef in filo dough covered in béchamel sauce and likely won't order it again. On a positive note, the rice was good, and the roasted carrots were excellent, very thinly sliced. We also enjoyed our favorite appetizer, the falafels, which were great. Despite the mixed food experience, we will definitely go back.

They offer a large menu with appealing lunch specials. The portion sizes were generous, and the food was amazing. I will definitely come back again when I'm in the area.

My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly positive. The food here is excellent; I've never had anything that wasn't hands down delicious. I also loved the ambiance, which is nice and easy, feeling very homey. It's a perfect place for taking a small child, as it's always calm and easy to grab a table.
