Value (3.8 out of 10)

mentioned by 21% of the guests

When it comes to value, this spot seems to be a bit of a mixed bag, leaning heavily towards disappointment. While a few folks appreciated the affordability and felt the starters offered good value, especially the generous extra bread that felt worth the cost, these positive sentiments are quite rare. With a score of just 3.8, its clear that most diners arent finding the bang for their buck.

However, the overwhelming sentiment, expressed in 25 negative remarks out of 34 total comments, points to significant concerns. Many found the place generally pricy, with overpriced menu items and expensive for small portions. There were even mentions of an extra price for things like pita bread, leading to a low customer satisfaction of only 11.8%.

It seems many feel the prices are simply not justified.

Delicious Food, Personal Turkish Delight Preference
My experience at the restaurant was largely positive, especially concerning the food. I found the entrees and appetizers to be delicious. While the Turkish delights weren't my personal favorite, this was a matter of individual taste. However, the Baklava was possibly the best I've ever had. The food received a perfect score of 5, and the atmosphere and service were both rated a solid 4.

Beautiful but overpriced Turkish breakfast
My experience at this restaurant was centered around their Turkish breakfast for two. While the presentation was beautiful, the overall value was not justified by the price. We found the amount of bread to be very small, necessitating an additional order that cost $10. Even a small cup of Turkish tea was priced at $4, which felt unreasonable for a traditional breakfast setting. In general, the portions were modest, and the prices were significantly higher compared to other Turkish restaurants that offer more generous breakfasts for less. It seems the cost here is primarily for the presentation rather than the substance or value.

My experience at Troya was fantastic! I found it to be an underrated gem. The kahvalti (turkish breakfast) was as good as the one I tried in Istanbul. The service was also fantastic. It's now my absolute favorite breakfast place in the city!

Beautiful Space, Delicious Turkish Breakfast!
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. I particularly loved the fries, the iced tea, and the muhammara dip that accompanied the Turkish breakfast. The space itself is beautiful, and we enjoyed the live DJ music during our weekend visit. The service, atmosphere, and food all received high ratings.
