Angelo's Tapas: A Masterful Move to Summerlin
My experience at Angelo's was fantastic! Angelo has masterfully relocated his wonderful 'hole in the wall' tapas cuisine from near Chinatown to Summerlin. The food was super, featuring everything from the essential bacon-wrapped dates to peach jelly pork belly.
The corn off the cob was perfectly flavored with sweet and smoky notes, and the garlic gambas tasted like Spain. The meal was rounded out with yummy mini heritage potatoes. While I thought the octopus wasn't as good as the Spring Mountain version I remember, it was still great.
We enjoyed a lovely Spanish wine, experienced great service, and the atmosphere made me feel like I was back in Spain.

TRES Social Tapas: A Delightful Discovery
Scrolling randomly around Google Maps or OpenTable can unearth gems which I had had no idea existed. TRES Social Tapas (or TRES Cantina Paella Social Tapas, or TRES Cazuelas, or just TRES) opened in Village Square July 2025; in my weak defence, the restaurant is on the inward side of the complex, rather than facing Sahara. Had my pick of seating so went with La Tequilera.
The atmosphere is traditional with a trendy twist Spanish. Deep blue, punchy red, bright yellow, grounded by earth tones in floor, table/bar tops, and booths. Plenty of paintings and a very large driftwood horse in the atrium.
Live music began at 6pm. Dinner was during happy hour (as of this review 4-6pm Tuesday-Sunday, 40% off, applied to cocktails and 2/3rds of the food menu). Prices listed are full/HH where applicable.
Food * Lamb Chops "Moruña" ($18/$11): Two baby chops well-seasoned, wonderful herbaceous scent, meat around medium-rare, very tender and juicy. The sauce was mostly mild and a touch sweet, enough to lend a boost without swamping the chops. * Iberico Dates ($9/$5.
50): Five whole-almond-stuffed fruits well-wrapped in chewy bacon, with plentiful blue cheese crumbles nicely contrasting with the sweet balsamic drizzle. * Cabrales Blue Cheese Mussels ($22/$13): 14 bivalves in a strong and creamy cheese broth; a very generous dish for an appetizer. The plump meat came out of their shells easily using the fork and had a pleasant round mouthfeel.
Came with two large pieces of herbed toast, which were a great base for the mussels and for sopping up the sauce. * Churros Rellenos ($10): Four chonky sticks, retained delicate crunch, and a light sweet bite. Drinks (all $14/$8.
50) * Pepper Basil Mezcalita: Smooth and mostly mild, with an herbal undercurrent and a nice zing from the peppered rim. * La Catrina: Definite carrot taste, not too sweet, with a hint of bitterness. * Mango Margarita: Juicy and bright popping citrus made extra by the chili pepper rim.
Also, I was happy to be a test subject for bartender Miranda's prototype cocktail, chilled version, then general manager Cassidy Clay offered her espresso'd version as well. Both were very appropriate for the season and demonstrated an innate aptitude for ingredient creativity. I hope the end results appear on the menu.
These were comped. Value: Fantastic. Service: Absolutely delightful from everyone, and the GM seemed to work the floor frequently.
Special mention (again) for Miranda behind the bar.

Delicious Paella and Tapas!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the Paella for two, which was both delicious and large. We also shared a couple of tapas that were really great.
The cocktail menu was also extensive and interesting.

Fantastic Tapas and Drinks
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. I enjoyed the fantastic tapas with a menu that was solid but wisely limited. The drinks were excellent, as were the choices for liquor.
For those who are Salvador Dali fans, you'll enjoy all of the artwork inside.

My New Favorite Spot!
This restaurant has become my go-to spot in Summerlin! The food is fantastic, and they have a great wine and tequila selection. The atmosphere is enhanced by a live musician playing sexy music.
They also offer a great room for private events, and I'm already planning my birthday party there!

Loved the food, missed the old vibe
I LOVE this place! We dined at their old location and man, what a gem! They say things are better bigger and while we LOVED the new menu, the vibe was different.
We loved that little cozy hole in the wall, with the bathrooms outside. It was such a delight to indulge in a place like that. This new space is nice, it’s huge!
Not quite like the other location… The food is heaven. The Spanish clams are a favorite of ours. The empanadas are DELISH.
And the paella— omg the paella! I wish we were locals, I would be here every week!

A Fantastic New Addition to the Area!
This restaurant, open for only two months, is a great addition to the area! The menu offered a wide variety of options. Our servers, Nicole and Diana, provided excellent guidance, directing us to excellent drink and tapas selections.
It was a pleasure to meet the owner, Angelo, and manager, Cassidy. I truly appreciate restaurants with a strong ownership and leadership presence, as it significantly enhances the quality of the patron experience. This was certainly the case for us on our first visit.
We will definitely be back! Beyond the great food, the great service and beautiful ambiance make this a true winner.

A Must-Visit Spot on the West Side!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's exactly what the Lakes area needed. I found it to be THE PLACE to be when you are on the west side of Las Vegas.
They offer live music and tapas, which is a perfect combination. The food, staff, and ambience were all top-notch, each receiving a perfect 5-star rating.

Smooth, Classy, and Full of Soul
My experience at Tres Taps Bar Summerlin was akin to a place Julio Iglesias would frequent – smooth, classy, and full of soul. The tapas were great, and the cocktails flowed like music. The La Tequilera pouring agave dreams added to the experience.
I highly recommend starting with the grilled octopus and sharing the paella to let the night slip away.
