Bland Food, Good Service
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The "Lean" omelet, featuring turkey, spinach, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese, was unfortunately bland, bordering on tasteless. It really needed some spices to enhance the flavor. I did appreciate that it lived up to its "lean" billing, which is why I gave it 2 stars for food. The cappuccino was also bland and significantly inferior to what I've had at Peet's or even Starbucks. On the positive side, the service was good, and the location along the picturesque Embarcadero is a definite plus.

Mixed Brunch Experience with Lacking Service
My experience at this brunch place was a mix of good and disappointing. The restaurant offers reasonable prices and good portions, with a pleasant atmosphere. However, the food quality was inconsistent. I was disappointed with the corned beef hash, finding it under seasoned and the corned beef just okay. While my wife loved her make-your-own Benedict and my daughter enjoyed her omelette, our grandson found the French toast not very good, and my daughter echoed my comments about the under seasoned potatoes. The service was a significant letdown; it took about 15 minutes to receive our drinks, and the server was largely invisible during the meal. Even after finishing, the server repeatedly entered the kitchen without checking on us for the bill. In summary, the food and portions were reasonably good, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the service was lackadaisical.

Mixed Bag: Good Basics, Questionable Aftermath
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag, with some aspects being okay and others raising concerns. The hashbrowns and over easy eggs were perfect, and my chocolate milkshake tasted great, though the portion size in the metal cup was less than expected. The pancakes, described as thick and fluffy, were surprisingly dense and larger than anticipated. A significant issue arose later in the day: both my dining companion and I experienced ultra foul gas, and since this was our only meal, we suspect it originated from the pancakes, syrup, butter, or jelly we shared. We also didn't receive the complimentary rolls that some patrons mention. While the location is convenient, being within walking distance of the yacht club at South Beach Harbor, I'm uncertain if I would return, and I would definitely pass on the pancakes.
