My experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. I was seated in a booth near the kitchen and waited over 15 minutes without any acknowledgment, not even for water or a "hello. " I eventually went to the bar to ask for assistance. The server, while picking up another order, spoke to me over the counter asking for my order. I ordered eggs Benedict, coffee, and water. The drinks arrived, but it took another 20 minutes for my food. It was literally dropped off without any interaction or offer for a coffee refill. To my dismay, the plate looked beautiful, but the eggs Benedict was COLD. I ate it that way because the waiter seemed indifferent. Cold poached eggs and hollandaise sauce were difficult to swallow. While I understand they might have been understaffed due to it being a Monday after a holiday, I will never return.

My experience at this restaurant was perfect for a brunch with the girls or a fun, relaxing meal for two. The service was fantastic, and the overall taste of the dishes was excellent. I highly suggest making a reservation.

My first visit to Toasted was a mixed bag. We were seated quickly and greeted by a server who impressively went over the entire menu. However, the Gastro Mary had no discernible taste of vodka or gin, just the mix. The celery garnish was not fresh, with one stalk even being brown and showing signs of decay. My breakfast, the Green Eggs, was okay, but the fruit, including the strawberries, was not fresh and had brown parts. The salmon toast was also disappointing as the bread was not toasted. While the food was fair, for two drinks and meals totaling $95, it was not worth the price, and I won't be returning for the Torrey Highlands area.

For a first-time visit, the experience was amazing. The food was very yummy, the music was on point, and the service was amazing. Helina, our server, was the sweetest individual and made the experience a thousand times better. Will definitely come again!

My experience at this restaurant was exceptional, easily making it the best brunch spot in the Del Mar Highlands area. The kitchen delivers unique, high-quality dishes every single time. However, the real reason my wife and I return so often is the people. The vibe here is unmatched thanks to an incredible team of waiters and waitresses who are attentive, friendly, and genuinely fun to talk to. This makes every visit feel like a special occasion rather than just a transaction. If you're looking for a place that excels in both its menu and hospitality, this is it.

I've been to this restaurant a few times with different people and have always found something on the menu for everyone. My favorite dish was the hash brown brisket skillet. The French toast plate with eggs and bacon is also highly recommended. The service and atmosphere were both excellent, contributing to a great overall experience.

My husband and I always have a blast when we come here for brunch. The food was excellent and arrived quickly. Our server, Karen, did a wonderful job serving us. She was extremely attentive to our table and ensured we had the best time!

My experience at this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. The food was great, with some items being unnecessarily pricey while others were reasonably priced. The décor is nice, and the patio is huge. However, my low rating is mainly due to how our reservation was handled. We made a reservation expecting a crowd, but the restaurant was not prepared. I could have been understanding if there had been an apology, but instead, the manager was dismissive and placed the blame on us, saying we didn't specify indoor or outdoor seating. I explained there is no option to choose as such, but she brushed it off. It was too cold outside, which is why I requested indoor seating, but there was no option to choose when making the reservation; it automatically defaults to indoor. They seated my party of 5 at a large 10-person table, which was fine, but again, no apology was offered. Our reservation was for 9: 30 AM, and we arrived at 9: 25, but weren't seated until 9: 53. Our order wasn't taken until around 10: 20, and the food also took a while to arrive. While I'm a reasonable person and was fine with the food's arrival time, the lack of accountability and communication was disappointing.

My experience at this restaurant, located next to Cinepolis in a shopping plaza on the top level, was a nice place for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised by their drip coffee, which was pretty bold and strong, just how I prefer it. This was my first time visiting with family, and we found they have many options to choose from. We enjoyed both indoor and outdoor seating, opting for the outdoor area which was lovely given the nice weather. The food was pretty fresh and delicious, and I especially loved the presentation. The Parmesan truffles potato ball was amazing – bite-sized, crunchy, and very flavorful; I couldn’t stop eating it! I would say it’s a nice brunch spot to hang out with friends and family. I would definitely recommend it!

My husband found this restaurant in between Dr. appointments. My experience was very positive. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. I enjoyed the french toast, bacon and eggs. I would recommend this place to family and friends.
