Great Views, Good Food, Rude Bartender
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, highlighted by the excellent views of San Francisco and a great atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the majority of the staff were very pleasant. However, the bartender was a bit rude, which was a contrast to the otherwise very pleasant staff.
Despite this, I would definitely go back.

Billing Error at The View Lounge
My experience at The View Lounge in the San Francisco Marriott Marquis was disappointing due to a billing issue. I ordered only one mocktail, but my bank statement later showed I was charged twice with different amounts. This kind of mistake is frustrating, especially at a place of this caliber, as I did not order anything else.
While the atmosphere and view are pleasant, I strongly recommend that visitors double-check their receipt or bank statement after their visit.

Stunning Views, Especially at Night
My experience at this restaurant was defined by its stunning view. Most tables offer a great vantage point. I would recommend visiting at night to witness the city lit up.

Affordable Views and Great Experience
My experience at this restaurant was surprisingly positive, especially considering the affordability. The view of San Francisco was the nicest I've seen, and I'd recommend visiting right before sunset. It's an ideal spot for a 5th date.

Awkward Policy, Expensive Drinks
My experience at this hotel bar was far from ideal. While it seems to cater to corporate patrons, their handling of a bad policy made the situation significantly worse due to an unwillingness to offer any flexibility. I was charged $45 for just two drinks, which felt solely appropriate for corporate tabs.
Upon arrival, a card was required, and then automatically charged upon departure as per their policy, with no option to split the bill. Despite being offered a chance to rectify the situation, they opted to uphold their policy and charge. I want to be clear that the server was not at fault, but I did speak to the manager to express that the policy is unsuitable and creates an awkward experience.
It felt like a place with hotel bar entitlement, with policies not fitting for normal patrons not on corporate credit cards. I will not be returning. Period.

Great Service, Worth the Wait
My experience at this restaurant was positive. While seating isn't guaranteed, our group of 4 managed to get seats. Our server, Don, was a great host and made us feel comfortable and not rushed at all.
It's more likely for smaller groups to find seats, but it's definitely worth checking out.

Closed for event, no notice
My experience was a waste of time because the restaurant didn’t let customers know that they were closed due to an upcoming event. It was frustrating to travel all the way there only to find it shut.

Breathtaking Lounge, Decent Food
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. While the beef sliders were just okay and the nits were decent, the most impressive aspect was the lounge, which was absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere truly stood out.
