Great Evolution, Friendly Staff, Sunny Patio
My experience at this restaurant was a fine evolution following its predecessors, Black Thorn. The comfy tables and sunny back patio (when the sun is out) provided a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, and for sports fans, there are lots of TVs.
It's suitable for all group sizes with no wait time and a moderate noise level.

Great Guinness and Chill Atmosphere
My experience at this bar on a Monday evening was great. I came in for a Guinness and was not disappointed. The bar has a chill atmosphere with a smoking lounge in the back.
It also offers a great TV view, perfect for watching MNF. The Guinness itself was an absolute creamer, truly exceptional.

Fabulous Irish Bar with Great Service
My experience at this Irish bar was fantastic. The bartenders were fabulous, and the service was exceptional. We visited on a night with live music, and Ivor Collins was playing – he was great!

Enjoyable Trivia Night with Good Mocktails
I've been enjoying the trivia night on Tuesdays at this establishment. I particularly love the slightly different question format and the convenient timing, as it starts at 7 PM and ends by 9 PM. It's also a plus that you can bring in food from elsewhere; they even suggest Tres Underdogs around the corner.
While I didn't love their one mocktail, the bartender made me a pretty good mock margarita one night.

The Temple: Great Atmosphere, Needs Food!
I recently discovered The Temple, and it's become my new favorite bar! After spending about 45 minutes searching for a bar in the area, none compared to The Temple. What impressed me most was the welcoming atmosphere and spotless cleanliness.
I visited for the first time last Saturday (April 12) and had a fantastic time. The only thing that would take it to the next level is a food menu – some finger foods like fries or wings would be amazing. Having to order food through delivery services added extra cost.
Despite that, I think The Temple has huge potential and could draw in even more customers with food options. I'm a total fan and live almost 30 blocks away, but I'll be bypassing all the other bars to come here from now on!

Temple Bar's Hot Toddies are a Cure!
I visited the Temple Bar while suffering from a head cold, and I'm happy to report that two of Martina’s Hot Toddies completely cured me! I felt like a new woman thanks to the experience at the Temple Bar. The Service and Atmosphere were both rated a perfect 5 out of 5.

Worse Vibes After Renovation
After renovating following the takeover of Blackthorn, the vibes here are worse. The staff didn't seem experienced, and the decor feels soulless. I've never seen so many typos in a cocktail list.

A Gem of a Neighborhood Pub
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The space has been beautifully renovated into a lovely pub. It's clean and spacious, with plenty of seating, especially around the gorgeous bar.
I was impressed by the wonderful beer and cocktail selection. The service was friendly and fast. This is definitely my new favorite neighborhood bar.
