I dropped on this place by chance while visiting San Francisco from the UK. I had an amazing sandwich and experienced amazing service. I would highly recommend this place.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's one of the best sandwich places in the city, offering a great variety of deli meats. The service was excellent, and Juan, the sandwich maker, is a real character. I highly recommend trying the pastrami sandwich, which was a real treat.

I've visited this restaurant four times over the past couple of months, and it's generally a decent option for lunch. However, the sandwiches are quite pricey. As a low-income worker, I usually opt for the bacon bagel, which is one of the cheaper choices at around $5 or $6. This price is acceptable if they generously add cream cheese and bacon. Unfortunately, on one occasion, I was dismayed to find absolutely no bacon on my bagel after unwrapping it back at work. While bummed, I ate it anyway since I had already returned to my workplace. On my second visit, I made sure to check my bagel immediately and confirmed it had bacon and a good amount of cream cheese, making that order worthwhile. Sadly, my third bagel order today was another disappointment, as it again lacked bacon : (. I had let my guard down, assuming the previous order was correct. It was truly heartbreaking. Therefore, I advise customers to open their sandwiches upon receipt and verify that all paid-for ingredients are present. If they can err on a two-ingredient item like 'The Bacon Bagel, ' proceed with caution, especially with larger sandwiches containing multiple ingredients. On the positive side, the one time I ordered a large deli sandwich, it was great! It was pricey, yes, but undeniably tasty. So, if you have the budget and don't mind the potential for a missing ingredient or two, this place can be good.
