My experience at The Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton San Francisco was truly exceptional, offering both an elevated and relaxed dining atmosphere. I had the pleasure of enjoying their Madame Clicquot Afternoon Tea and a full dinner, both of which were incredible in distinct ways. The Afternoon Tea was a fun and elegant affair, complete with a glass of Veuve Clicquot and a beautiful array of savory bites, scones, and sweets.
Everything tasted incredibly fresh and seasonal, enhanced by the room's ambiance with its tall windows and classic design, creating a perfect blend of refined and cozy. The dinner was equally impressive. The Ahi Tuna Tartare was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented, while the Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection – rich, tender, and complemented by a delightful sauce and bone marrow butter.
The truffle fries were crispy and utterly addictive. Their cocktails are creative and well-executed; the Golden Gate KARL is a must-try. Throughout my visit, the service was excellent: attentive, professional, and warm without being overly formal.
Whether for a full meal, a drink, or afternoon tea, The Lounge delivers a sense of quiet luxury that perfectly embodies San Francisco. I highly recommend it.
