The location in Madison Lake is great, and they offer some nice outdoor seating, though the inside can feel a bit crowded and messy. The staff was nice and friendly, and the pizza itself was generally great. While the cheese pizza with basil could have used a bit more flavor, being a little bland, the pepperoni pizza was delicious! Overall, it's a great pizza place in a convenient location.

Keep in mind that they only make pizzas until they run out, so it's best to order ahead. I placed my order around 4: 30 PM and picked it up at 6: 30 PM, and it was well worth the wait. The customer service was top-notch. My son and I were greeted warmly upon arrival and the pizza was hot and fresh, straight out of the oven. The tomato sauce was flavorful and had a fresh tomato taste, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the pepperoni was some of the best I've had in a very long time. I especially enjoyed the unique sausage, which was sliced like pepperoni and had a great flavor. While the crust was a bit soft on the bottom, it was still delicious and I'd only take off a half-star for that as the outside crust was cooked perfectly. Overall, I would highly recommend The Independent Pizzeria for a delicious and satisfying pizza experience. With its friendly service, quality ingredients, and flavorful pizzas, it's definitely worth a visit.
