My experience at Gold Mirror was spectacular! The renovation is absolutely 1st class. The perfect setting combined with excellent food makes this one of the city's best neighborhood restaurants. The new place has a great, comfortable environment. Thank you Gold Mirror for making our neighborhood even nicer. We've missed you!

As a lifelong visitor from San Francisco, I can confidently say that we always make it a point to come back to Gold Mirror! We were excited to see the renovations.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's incredibly busy all the time, which is a testament to its quality. The food here is the closest thing to getting actual food from Italy. The atmosphere was great, and the service was also very good.

After a long, cold day at the beach, the Golden Mirror Italian Restaurant was a welcome refuge. The food was so good I had to return to confirm it wasn't a dream. My companion, Patty Applejack, verified the quality, presentation, and taste, and we both agreed: they smashed it! It's a great place for authentic Italian cuisine that truly warms you up. 5 stars again ☆☆☆☆☆

I popped in for dinner randomly on a Wednesday night at 7, and the restaurant was lively and full. The food was far better than I expected, especially considering the low-key exterior. The veal parmigiana was amazingly good, the tiramisu was surprisingly light and perfect, and the cannoli were lovely. You can tell things are made from scratch and with care here. We had a lovely waiter, Joseph, who made us feel like cherished family, even though it was our first time. We will be back here often for our special occasions.

The food was well below average, and considering the prices, it was a total joke. The only reason this place seems to stay open is its long-standing clientele. There are many other Italian restaurants in the city at this price point that offer delicious food and good service. I would advise going elsewhere.

This led to a chaotic situation where our appetizer arrived after the main course, and the pasta was served alongside our main dishes. We were so affected by the service that we didn't even consider ordering dessert.
