My experience at this restaurant was marred by the extremely rude bartender. He was pretentious and condescending. When a customer asked for a vodka recommendation, his response was, “I don’t recommend vodka to anybody. ” When I jokingly inquired about the absence of Fernet, he dismissively asked, “Ever heard of running out? ” Overall, it was a bad experience.

Thank goodness, a San Francisco bar serving food after 8pm, and one able to serve up a couple of decent burgers. Well done guys.

The ambience was lovely, and I really enjoyed the small plates, the company, and the overall vibe. The food itself was excellent, with standout dishes like the cheesy roasted potatoes, the Beet salad, gnocchi, and kielbasa – all delicious! I'm already planning my return visit soon.

I specifically asked for a dirty dry Martini three times, but the bartenders provided a completely different drink. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, he refunded my money but offered no apology. This lack of apology and the inability to make a simple drink correctly reflects bad service.

We popped in for a quick dinner and enjoyed an outdoor parklette table before an evening show. The burger was delicious. We also ordered the chicken sandwich, modified to have no bacon but with added avocado and sauerkraut, which was also delicious. Both dishes came with roasted potatoes, which were very good. The portion size was perfect. The service was good, and overall, it was a really nice experience. We were in and out quickly and off to see a show. We’ll be back again soon.
