The Castle - Reviews

On a slow night, it seemed like the restaurant was short-staffed, as our server was clearly overwhelmed with too many tables. Despite this, she provided excellent service, deserving of the 5 stars given. The food arrived with correctable mistakes, and the corrections took a very long time, leading to staggered eating times for our party. However, the soda bread was spot on, and the fish and chips were delicious. The Shepards Pie was just average. The meal was fairly expensive, which was expected given the location. The area is beautiful for a walk, and we found street parking on Edgewater without issue.

I went to this place hoping for a nice meal after hearing great things. Unfortunately, our server, HARMONY, was absolutely terrible. She didn't make us feel welcomed, was very rude, and had a bad attitude. Due to the poor service, we will not be back.

My experience at this Irish pub was fantastic. The soda bread was incredibly delicious, and they had a great selection of Guinness on tap. I also tried a new beer, Sullivan's Irish Gold, based on the bartender's recommendation, and it was also delicious. I enjoyed watching the Man United game, even though the result was disappointing. The overall atmosphere and service left me feeling great, regardless of the game's outcome. I'll definitely be back to try more Irish concoctions and meals. Slainte!

My experience at this establishment was mixed. While it's described as a pub, it felt more like an Irish-themed bar. The atmosphere was quite loud, similar to clubs and bars, which I found annoying. However, the food was excellent.

My friends and I stopped into the pub for a drink for the first time and had an absolutely amazing experience. We cannot wait to come back. Allie and Harmony were our bartenders and I cannot express how rare it is to find such fabulous service in Orlando. They played such current music that made us stay for another round!

My experience at The Castle, an Irish Pub in Orlando, FL, was fantastic! I was invited after the O-Town Hurling Tournament and was immediately welcomed with delicious curry fries and hashbrowns & bacon. Even after multiple portions, I was still hungry, so I ordered the Shepherd's Pie with a pint of Guinness, which was absolutely perfect. It had a crispy cheddar cheese crust, finely chopped meat, and smooth, creamy potatoes. I even took half home, and it tasted great cold. The staff was great, the food was great, and it's wonderful that every meal supports Hurling & Gaelic Sports in Orlando and the Southeast. Abú The Castle!

Brooke was awesome! My experience at this restaurant was great. I went for some pints and have locked in the top spot for best Guinness in town. The bar has a cool historic atmosphere with traditional touches. I will be back soon.

We've visited this restaurant twice before and were reminded of how good it is. They've recently added an amazing chicken sandwich to the menu, which was incredibly delicious! The balance of sweet honey and crunchy chicken on a fresh brioche roll was perfect. Our kids enjoyed the chicken nuggets, which were made from all white meat and hand-breaded, not the typical frozen product. We also tried the Reuben sandwich, featuring thick corned beef and pickled cabbage that really hit the spot. The meat was cut thicker than other Reubens we've had, and the flavor was absolutely delicious. The live music and great service by Andrea made for a wonderful dinner. Thank you for a delicious meal; we hope you remain a staple for many years to come.

My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, largely due to the exceptional service provided by Allie, Brooke, and Harmony. They were consistently on the ball with all orders and were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I will absolutely come back next time I'm in town.

I've been to the castle over the last few months, and I have to say the quality of the food during the dinner shift is like night and day. The food from the night crew far exceeds my expectations. I usually get a steak dinner, and it has ALWAYS been exceptional! Compliments to the dinner chef!
