Great Irish Pub for Games and Fun
My experience at The Blarney Stone Bar was fantastic! It's a lively and welcoming neighborhood Irish pub with quick and friendly service. They offer a great selection of beers and cocktails. We always go there to catch a game on TV, enjoy fun bar games like shuffleboard and air hockey, or relax on the outdoor patio with friends. They have a mix of good drinks, tasty food, and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. It’s a spot I’d highly recommend for any occasion.

Friendly spot with outdoor seating
For those wondering, dogs are allowed here! The people are friendly, and it seems they have many usual customers. There's also an outside patio area in the back.

Classic Neighborhood Pub Vibe
My experience at Blarney Stone Bar was fantastic! It has that classic neighborhood pub vibe that makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is laid-back and unpretentious—perfect for catching a game, grabbing a drink with friends, or just unwinding after a long day. The drink selection is solid, with a good mix of beers on tap, reasonably priced cocktails, and a few surprises depending on the night. The bartenders are friendly, fast, and know how to pour a proper drink.

Blarney Stone: A Gem with Great Service
My experience at The Blarney Stone Bar in San Francisco was fantastic. It truly felt like a hidden gem with an English pub vibe and an Irish soul. From the moment I walked in, the warm, laid-back atmosphere was incredibly inviting, making me feel like an old friend. The Guinness on tap was perfectly poured, and the use of fresh-squeezed grapefruit for cocktails like palomas, margaritas, and gimlets was a total game-changer. Our bartender, Tori, was an absolute delight – down-to-earth, attentive, and full of good vibes. Her seamless service made the night feel special, even on our first visit, adding that touch that elevates a good bar to a favorite. Whether for cocktails, draft beer, or just good company, Blarney Stone delivers. I'll definitely be back, cheers!

Great Irish Bar with Perfect Guinness
My experience at this bar was excellent. It's one of the best bars in Clairemont and one of the better Irish bars in San Diego. They are meticulous about pouring a Guinness, taking their time to ensure it's perfect, which is exactly what's needed. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially when there's live music, as the place gets packed.

Unacceptable Rude Bartender Experience
I've never left a 1-star review before, but my experience with a group of 5 people at 1: 15 am was incredibly disappointing. Upon entering, the bartender immediately questioned why we thought they were open, despite the door being unlocked and signs indicating they were open until 2 am. After apologizing and stating we would leave, the bartender became verbally abusive, shouting racially charged slurs as we exited. The entire interaction lasted less than 60 seconds. It's unacceptable to be treated with such rudeness and inappropriate language, especially when we were respectful of the establishment. I cannot recommend this place due to their hiring of miserable and discourteous staff.

Misleading Photos, No Food Available
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. I was drawn in by the photos, but they are misleading as they have not had food for at least 6 years. I'm sure many other people like myself have gone there thinking they had food only to find nada. Not even any simple bar snacks!

Great Beer Selection, Bring Your Own Food!
My experience at this place was great! The bartenders were friendly, and they have an excellent selection of beer. It's important to note that they don’t serve food anymore, but they are accommodating and allow outside food. Plus, there are lots of restaurants around if you need to grab a bite.

Shuffleboard Fun, Limited Drink Options
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The shuffleboard provided some nice entertainment, which was a positive aspect. However, I was disappointed by the lack of 0 / non-alcoholic beers available. The price for a Guinness was also noted as $9, which seemed a bit high. The restaurant was pretty empty when we visited, but I suspect the atmosphere would be better with more people around.
