My first experience at this restaurant was yesterday. I asked other diners about the food, and everyone agreed it was great. I ordered the yellow curry chicken and yellow curry duck, and both were absolutely amazing! I will definitely be getting takeout from here again. My recommendation is: You need to get this place!

This place is a true staple of the area. I've never had anything here that I didn't want more of, which speaks volumes about the food quality. You absolutely must stop by for a meal. And don't forget to try the Thai tea – you'll thank me later. The service was excellent (rated 5/5), and the atmosphere was pleasant (rated 4/5), being quiet and easy to talk. The food itself was also rated a perfect 5/5.

I visited this restaurant with my parents for dinner the other night, and our experience was fantastic. We ordered the fried tofu, pad see ew, and hot basil, and all the dishes were great! The fried tofu was incredibly tender on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside. The pad see ew featured plump noodles with generous portions of meat and broccoli. My personal favorite was the hot basil, which had a delightful spice level and a healthy serving of colorful vegetables. While it's a simple place, the atmosphere is very welcoming, and you can truly taste the love they put into their food. The staff were also joyful and attentive, making the overall experience very warm and welcoming.

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, especially considering the price. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai for $18, but I strongly suspect the sauce was made with American tomato paste or spaghetti sauce, rather than traditional tamarind. The portion was small, with only 8 pieces of overcooked, small shrimp. I was too tired and hungry after a long day of work to consider rejecting the dish and asking for a refund. I'll definitely remember to go to Lanna Thai in PB next time; that place is truly underrated. Additionally, the loud pop music blasting was quite annoying.

I've lived in Serra Mesa for six years, and Thai Pepper has been my go-to since the day I moved in. I've tried countless Thai restaurants searching for that special touch of care, attention, and spirit in the food, and Thai Pepper consistently delivers incredible flavor. It's a place that provides me comfort when I'm missing home and satisfies every craving. In my opinion, Thai Pepper can't be beat. It's always my number one recommendation for anyone visiting or new to the area. The restaurant is consistently clean, and the employees are always so kind and friendly. Your orders are always made fresh and ready quickly. I highly recommend the garlic dish, whether with beef or chicken. I personally enjoy it at level 5 spice, which is perfect for me. Honestly, everything is delicious, and I've never been disappointed. A big thank you to the owners and staff for being so kind and for creating such a comforting place with great food.

My experience at this restaurant was very negative. The staff were incredibly rude, and they were consistently late for service. If I had the option, I would have given them 0 stars.

What a gem! This is a small, hole-in-the-wall place that I highly recommend. I tried the lunch special and it was fantastic. The spicy noodles were yummy. Prices are similar to other Thai joints.

My experience at this restaurant was great! I loved how it was affordable and the customer service was good. I was looking for some comfort food, and this place definitely provided. While the papaya salad isn't always available during certain hours, I tried the larb salad, and it was delicious! I am definitely coming back.

I've enjoyed their Pad Thai and Yellow Curry, and their Tom Yum soup is arguably the best I've ever had. I highly recommend this place.

I recently visited San Diego and decided to try Thai Pepper Cuisine through Uber Eats. I ordered the drunken fish, a small Tom Yum Soup, and a Thai Tea. The drunken fish was a fantastic contrast of spicy and sweet, perfectly complemented by crisp romaine lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and fluffy jasmine rice. The Tom Yum Soup was also excellent, featuring shrimp and a perfectly balanced spicy flavor. I will definitely be checking out Thai Pepper Cuisine again on my next visit to town.
