Consistently Delicious Takeout
My experience with this restaurant has been seriously delicious. I've had takeout from here a dozen times, and every single time it hits the spot. I highly recommend going with the spicy option.

A Long-Time Favorite with Great Chicken!
I've been coming to this place for years and it's a true favorite. My experience has consistently been great. The food is fantastic, especially the chicken. Make sure to ask for the dressing on your chicken – it's a must-try! The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service is top-notch, both rated a perfect 5. It's a place I highly recommend.

Huge Portions, Delicious Sauce!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, primarily due to the incredibly huge portions, which were enough to last me for three meals. The sauce was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. I would definitely come back.

A Delicious and Unpretentious Gem
This place is such a gem! It's nothing fancy, but the food always tastes great. I highly recommend the chicken teriyaki, chicken katsu, and gyoza. I also tried the ribs, which were good too. It's a perfect spot for when you don't want to cook but are craving something that isn't too greasy. I personally enjoy their salad, though my partner isn't a fan (more for me 😁). The person working there, who seems to be the same woman consistently, is also friendly! Highly recommend!

Quality Dip at Former Favorite Spot
What used to be our regular neighborhood teriyaki spot has gone downhill this last year, finally to the point where I am leaving a review. The entire restaurant feels streamlined now, as if a private equity company is operating it. I try to order and eat teriyaki ‘for here’ whenever possible, as you usually get a bigger portion and can eat it fresh. Well, there’s no such thing anymore at this location. Even ordering ‘for here’, you’re served food in a to go container - likely a cost cutting move to eliminate dish washing and rely solely on plastic. The chicken is still decent as far as teriyaki goes, but the rice is a bland texture less white mass and sauce far too sweet. I’ve heard the teriyaki madness on 45th is still as good as always, but it’s sad to see the quality dip so low at a spot I’ve been going to for the last 5 years.

Overrated and Bland Chicken
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I found the chicken to be bland, and the teriyaki sauce tasted like something from a supermarket. Overall, I think it's overrated.

Fast, Flavorful, and Big Portions
My experience at this restaurant was characterized by fast service and flavorful food, with big portion sizes. The parking situation was a bit interesting, described as somewhat difficult to find. Upon entering, I was asked what I wanted, but there was no upselling, no drinks offered, and no extra sauce or napkins provided. I ordered the $17 spicy chicken, and it was fire. I also got a $20 chicken and beef combo. I finished my portion, and my stepdad finished about a fourth of his. The salad was okay, but the sauce was on the weak side; I was hoping for a nice citrus or strong ginger dressing.

Favorite Teriyaki Spot!
I've been coming here for years and this is by far my favorite spot to get teriyaki. I highly recommend the teriyaki chicken and chicken Katsu; it's the best I have ever had.

Loyal Customer Finds Costs Rising
I've been coming here for years. The business is a good neighbor, and I understand the cost of business is increasing. However, the customer cost is also rising, making it difficult to afford.

Expensive Teriyaki, Decent Food
My experience at this teriyaki restaurant was a mixed bag. I ordered the spicy teriyaki, spicy pork, and a large order of guyoza, along with two sodas. The total bill came to $70, not including the tip. The rice was cooked perfectly, neither overcooked nor wet. The spicy chicken was well-trimmed and tasted decent. The spicy sauce itself is made with onions and thinly sliced carrots. However, the spicy pork was "kinda trimmed" and contained a lot of gristle that was inedible, though the crows I fed seemed to enjoy it. The guyoza were large and decent. What was surprising was that the place was completely empty during lunchtime on a Friday, which made me wonder why. For a teriyaki joint, $70 for a meal felt extremely high. While the food was decently good, the price point makes it unaffordable for me, especially when there's a slightly cheaper, albeit mediocre, place down the street. I believe that if the quality is there, the restaurant should focus on quantity to sell more and keep the staff busy. It's also strange that other reviews I read didn't mention the price. You should decide for yourself.
