Amazing Food, Drinks, and Owners!
My experience at this restaurant was truly amazing. The food was incredible, and the drinks were equally impressive. What made it even better were the owners, who were also amazing.
I discovered a new appreciation for tea after visiting this place.

Excellent Coffee and Brunch at Tea Rex
My experience at Tea Rex was a delightful surprise this morning. Faced with several coffee choices, I'm so glad we ended up here. The vibes were great, with high ceilings contributing to a pleasant atmosphere.
The service was warm and friendly, and the coffee was so good that I ordered a second cup. I also really enjoyed the avocado toast and the morning bun, which seemed to be made from a croissant base. While we didn't try everything, we liked everything we sampled.
Thanks!

New Favorite Pastry Discovery!
I think I just found my new favorite pastry in Bernal — the Nutella Cragel! It’s a cross between a croissant and a bagel: softer than a bagel but firmer than a croissant. They served it warm with a side of Nutella dip.
The staff was super friendly, and they have an impressive selection of teas. I definitely need to come back to try them out.

Charming Coffee Shop with Delicious Brew
My experience at this quaint coffee shop, situated at the edge of Bernal Heights and Diamond Heights, was delightful. I found the cold brew to be the most delicious, and there was a nice variety of goodies to snack on. The atmosphere was enhanced by interesting art and beautiful plants.
Furthermore, the baristas were so sweet and welcoming. I will definitely be back to experience more.

Delicious Quesadillas and Welcoming Owners
Tea Rex Cafe is a gem in my neighborhood. My favorite dish to get here is the chicken quesadilla; it was so filling - crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. My husband ordered the breakfast quesadilla with crab meat, and wow — it was loaded with egg, crab, and avocado.
It's hard to finish everything. We also had the shakerato, which was very refreshing and gave me a caffeine hit (and actually not too sweet). The owners, Daniel and Rogelio, are incredibly sweet and welcoming - you can tell they really care about the place and their customers.

Sweet Staff, Decent Cappuccino, Great Cookie Price
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, especially concerning the staff. As everyone has already mentioned, the staff behind the counter were wonderfully sweet. I ordered a hot cappuccino and an oatmeal raisin cookie, which cost $6.
This was less than the price of a cappuccino alone ($6. 25) at a neighboring establishment, Pinhole. The cappuccino itself was okay.
