Disappointing Change in Food Portions
I used to love this place. Since the takeover by new management, the food quantity has significantly reduced. The dosas are smaller, and the portion sizes and breads are also smaller.
I've stopped coming here after being a regular since they opened.

Disappointing Buffet Experience at Taj Palace
Based on reviews, I was expecting a great variety at Taj Palace, but I found that most Indian restaurants offer a similar menu. We ventured for the buffet, and it was nothing extraordinary, featuring the same menu as other establishments. The masala chai was horrible and priced at $4 a cup, though it was eventually removed from the bill.
I also noticed the service staff seemed a bit frustrated when they got busy, which was another drawback. Customer service doesn't seem to be a priority for them. My review likely won't make a difference, as they seem to have a steady stream of customers, suggesting that ethics aren't a significant factor in their culture.

Tender Lamb Curry & Creamy Kofta
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the lamb curry, which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The Malai kofta was also a highlight, with a wonderfully creamy texture and delicious vegetarian balls.
The service was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely Delightful Buffet Experience!
What an absolute delightful experience! I came here for a quick lunch buffet, and all items were spot on to perfection. The mutton curry was the star for me on the buffet menu; the meat was delicate and perfectly cooked.
The naan was the second best on my list; I could have just eaten butter naan with green chutney and it would still be worth it. The tandoori chicken was perfect, and the sweets were fresh and hitting all the right spots. I ordered chai separately and was not at all disappointed.
Next time, I will definitely come back, maybe for an à la carte biryani dinner. 😇

Best Indian Food Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was exceptional! Having tried Indian food extensively across various locations, I can confidently say this is by far the best. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and delicious.
It's impressive to see and hear the chefs preparing the dishes, adding to the overall experience. Everything we ordered was absolutely scrumptious and beyond expectations. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, contributing to a wonderful dining atmosphere.
The restaurant itself is clean and has good vibes, making it a perfect spot for any group. The menu offers a ton of variety, from appetizers to alcoholic drinks. I particularly enjoyed the Lamb Mango Curry or Chicken Mango Curry, which have become new favorites, even surpassing Butter Chicken.
We opted for spice level 5 (out of 10), and it was a perfect blend of sweet and spicy. This unique curry is only available at Taj Palace. I would highly recommend this restaurant; it's now one of my favorites!

Excellent Indian Food and Service
I don't eat Indian food out often, but when I do, Taj is the only place I go. Thanks to Sam and Ash for the way they run this tight ship and make sure everyone is taken care of, even when it's busy. And thanks for the excellent cook staff 👌🏽.
The gulaab jaamun alone are worth the trip 💥.
