Solid Tacos and Great Vibe
My experience at Tacolicious was fantastic! I visited for a quick late lunch and their tacos were exactly what I needed after a busy morning. Even during an off-peak hour, the space was lively and energetic, with super friendly staff.
The complimentary chips and salsa were a lovely start, and my two fish tacos were quite tasty. The fish was perfectly fried with a crispy exterior, and the toppings like cabbage and crema added great texture and flavor. The tacos were flavorful on their own, but the selection of three salsas and pickled onions offered even more delicious options, ranging from mild to extremely spicy.
I can't wait to come back!

Delish Happy Hour Tacos!
My experience during happy hour was fantastic! I enjoyed the loteria night, which was a fun event. The chips and salsa were very tasty, and the chicken tacos were absolutely delish.
Overall, a great time with delicious food.

Disappointing Tacos, Okay Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the waiters were nice and the atmosphere was ok, the tacos were far below expectations. They did not taste good and were also expensive.

Delicious Tacos and Great Vibe
My dinner experience at Tacolicious was fantastic! The tacos were incredibly fresh and flavorful, with the carnitas and fish taco being particular standouts. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere contributed to a great vibe.

Disappointing Tacos, Great Chips
My experience at Tacolicious was mixed. I found the chips/salsa and fresh guac to be great. However, the main dishes were a letdown.
For $65 for 10 tacos, the menu felt small, and the tacos were described as tasteless and avant-garde, each proving to be incredibly disappointing. I would suggest saving your money and exploring the many other taquerias nearby.

Hidden Surcharge and Poor Service
I purchased tacos from Tacolicious's tent at a Valencia Night Market. The advertised price was $10 plus 8. 75% sales tax, totaling $10.
88. However, I was charged $11. 57, which equates to a 15.
7% tax. When I questioned the cashier about the upcharge, they dismissed it as tax, but the math did not add up. I was also not provided with a breakdown of the bill.
Furthermore, a server shooed us away from the outdoor seating, despite us being customers and there being available seats. This behavior contradicts the community spirit of the Valencia Night Markets. The hidden surcharges and dismissive, almost hostile, service left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will not be returning.

Consistently Great Food and Atmosphere
I consistently enjoy my experiences at this restaurant. The food is good, and they offer great outdoor seating, which is perfect for the area. I also had an amazing non-alcoholic drink.
The atmosphere and service were both rated a 5 out of 5, and the food also received a 5. While parking can be somewhat difficult to find, the noise level is quiet, making it easy to talk.

Cute Vibe, Underwhelming Tacos
I was super excited to try Tacolicious during my visit, especially since a friend had been hyping it up. The vibe was honestly really nice, with moody lighting and good music, making it feel like a cute spot to catch up and hang out. However, that was pretty much the highlight for me.
The prices felt unrealistic; $15 for two tiny tacos is a lot, especially in this economy. I wouldn’t have minded paying that if the flavors were there, but the meat just didn’t hit. I know my Mexican food, and it was giving underwhelming.
If you're just looking for a cute place to sit and snack, it might work. But if you’re hungry or looking for actual good tacos, I’d say skip it. There are way better spots just a few blocks away that are more local, more flavorful, and way more worth it.
The service was great; the staff was super friendly and attentive. I just wish the food matched the energy. It felt like it was definitely catered more toward white folks, not people who actually grew up eating tacos.
I wouldn’t come back, but the area is nice to walk around after, which was a plus!

Grisly Meat Ruined an Otherwise Wonderful Meal
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. I ordered tacos, and when they came, most of the taco meat was grisly and I could not chew it. However, other than the taco meat, everything else was wonderful.
The Service and Atmosphere were both rated a 5 out of 5, indicating a very positive experience in those areas.
