Amazing Sushi, Tokyo Feel!
My experience at this restaurant was truly exceptional. I found the most amazing sushi in SF, which felt exactly like being in Tokyo. The high quality service was a standout, and the incredible quality fish was served at incredible prices.
I absolutely love this place.

Fresh Fish, Quality Ingredients
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The place is small, but the fish is incredibly fresh and delicious. I appreciated that they don't rely on heavy sauces, as their focus is on the quality fish and interesting ingredients.
The service was excellent, rated a 5, and the food also received a perfect 5. The atmosphere was rated a 4, and it was quiet, making it easy to talk. We had no wait time and were a group of 2 people, with a price range of $20–30 per person.

Disappointing Tuna, Good Mussels
I was really disappointed by the fish quality : (We saw the tuna set on Google Photos and thought it looked really good! However, upon ordering, it was absolutely nowhere near the quality shown in their photo. The tuna also didn't taste fresh and didn't have a good texture.
It was also pretty expensive, so we were disappointed. The baked mussels were good though! And the server was kind and attentive.
But we wanted good sushi, so we probably won't be back.

Excellent Sushi, Worth the Wait
My experience at this restaurant was centered around their sushi. While there might be fancier sushi options in the city, I found the quality here to be exceptionally good, with not much better sushi available. I highly recommend checking them out if you have the chance.
However, be prepared for a wait, as it's clearly a popular spot and not the best kept secret.

Still Excellent After Ownership Change
My experience at this restaurant was overwhelmingly positive, even after a change in ownership. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the portions were notably generous. I particularly enjoyed the sea bass mango appetizer, which was described as amazing.
The service was very attentive. As a former regular customer who moved away years ago, I always make a point to return. I absolutely love the Hawaii roll; I haven't found anything comparable elsewhere.
This was my first visit since the ownership change, and it remained excellent, with only minor differences, such as less mayo on the Hawaii roll, which was perfectly fine. My only critique is that the chairs are not very comfortable, especially since the booths are gone. Despite this, it's still worth a return visit.
