Amazing Food, Needs a Facelift
I've enjoyed this place since I first tried it about 8 years ago. The food quality is amazing for such a great price! I do wish they had more of their dishes available, as it seems they run out really fast and take weeks to restock.
The environment could look a bit better; it looks ancient and needs a major facelift. But overall, I give it a thumbs 👍😁.

Good Food, Shrinking Portions
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food itself was good, earning a 4 out of 5 rating. However, I noticed that the rice portions have significantly decreased over the last decade, almost by half.
This means that if you have a large appetite or haven't visited in a while, you might need to order multiple dishes per person. The tapa was bland, which was a disappointment. Additionally, there is no indoor seating for eating, and the atmosphere received a low rating of 2.
Parking was also difficult to find.

Good Prices, Food, and Early Bird Deals
My experience at the restaurant was positive. I found the prices to be good for the rice plate. It's a great place to go early as some items tend to run out fast.
Overall, the food was good.

Nostalgic Filipino Flavors with Parking Woes
I used to go to this restaurant back in the 90s after playing pickup basketball at War Memorial in Daly City. My go-to dish was the Tocilog (Filipino bacon, garlic rice, fried egg, with chopped tomatoes or pineapple). The best thing was that the food was good with reasonable prices.
I also tried the Bangsilog. It was yummy, but took forever to eat due to too many pin bones, so be careful if you've never eaten that before. The parking situation was always a problem though.
But once you found a spot, it was on!

Great Value Filipino Eats!
I've been to this eatery many times, and each visit has been consistently satisfying. It truly defines "your money's worth, " offering a fulfilling plate at a low cost. They specialize in Filipino rice dishes, known as "silogs, " which include garlic rice, egg, a choice of tomatoes or pineapples, and a protein.
The options are so delicious that I often find myself ordering two! While they used to offer dine-in, it's now strictly "to-go" post-pandemic. The staff are very friendly and well-trained.
Keep in mind, they are a "cash only" establishment, so be sure to bring cash before you arrive. I highly recommend this place for anyone on a budget or looking for something "quick and easy. " I will definitely be back!

Great Value Hong Kong Pork Chop
My experience at this restaurant was a pleasant surprise, offering cheap eats for half the price with above-average quality. I ordered the Hong Kong pork chop over garlic rice, which cost about $8. 50 and came in a huge box of food.
The two deep-fried pork chops were surprisingly juicy, despite being a bit lean. The meal included garlic rice, a fried egg, and some plain cut tomatoes to cleanse the palate.

Simple, Cheap Eats with Nostalgic Charm
I've only been here once, but I definitely plan to try more of their menu. I got the Baby Bangus meal, which comes with a fried egg, tomato wedges, and garlic rice for $6. 25.
I also added popcorn chicken for $4. 25 since they ran out of lumpia by the time I got there at 3 PM, which was pretty close to closing. The food is simple, and wasn't mind-blowing or anything, but I think that's why I enjoyed this so much.
This place is another one of the last bastions in the city for cheap, decent food. It reminded me of some of the Filipino restaurants I went to growing up in South Bay, just a bit more run down. You can tell this place has been here a while, since they have some old-school cigarette ads up, and interestingly, they preserved their old menu above the counter with prices I can only assume were from the 90s-early 2000s?
A full lunch special meal for $3. 50? I should ask them about when that was next time.
I guess you should also come early since by the time I got there, a few things were sold out. Edit: forgot to add that there wasn't any seating at the time of this review (common these days post-pandemic), so bear that in mind. I just ate on the curb.

Delicious Food, Great Value!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a true hole in the wall spot with incredibly delicious food. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are well worth it.
The atmosphere was great, and the service was top-notch, both rated a 5 out of 5. I visited for lunch and found the price per person to be between $1–$10.

Delicious Hong Kong Pork Chop & Great Service
My experience at the restaurant was very positive. I ordered the Hong Kong pork chop, which came with fried rice and egg/tomato. The dish itself was good and delicious.
The staff was also very nice. The waiting time for one dish was 15-20 minutes, which is considered normal as most items are fried.
