Good Dim Sum, Limited Options
This is a great local spot for carry-out dim sum. While the selection isn't as extensive as other Cantonese bakeries on San Bruno Avenue, the quality is good. The Charsiu bao (BBQ pork buns) are meaty, not fatty, and have the perfect savory-to-sweet balance.
The service was excellent (5/5), and the atmosphere was pleasant (4/5). It's accessible and great for kids with agreeable food options. Parking can be somewhat difficult to find, and it's walk-ins only.
Vegetarian options are limited, and I wouldn't recommend it for vegetarians.

Cockroach found in dim sum
My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative. I found a bug that looked like a cockroach inside the dim sum I brought home from this place. This is a serious issue regarding food safety and hygiene.

Authentic Dim Sum Gem!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The prices are super affordable, making it perfect for a casual meal or a quick to-go order. Their siu mai is absolutely unbeatable—perfectly steamed, juicy, and packed with flavor.
The rest of the dim sum menu is equally delicious, with a great variety of classic options. If you’re looking for authentic dim sum without breaking the bank, this is the spot to go. Highly recommend!
Plus, it has a great bakery next door, which makes me always come back.

Perfect Jiggly Egg Tarts
My experience was centered around the jiggly egg tarts. They were not too sweet or too eggy, which I appreciated. The crust was described as crumbly but light.
It was a perfect afternoon snack on the go.

Okay Food, No Seating
My experience at the restaurant involved no line at 12pm on a rainy Saturday. The turnip cake and egg rolls tasted OK, not great. There are no seats for dining in.

Delicious Dim Sum, Get There Early!
My experience at this restaurant was centered around their delicious dim sum. I found that you truly "can't go wrong with any choice" when it comes to their food. However, a crucial piece of advice is to "get there early cause they might just sell out of the good stuff.
" This indicates a popular spot where popular items are in high demand. The food quality was rated a 5 out of 5, and the service also received a high score of 5. The atmosphere, however, was rated lower at 2.

Delicious Dim Sum Surprise!
Y’all, this place was a delightful surprise! It's incredibly tasty and conveniently close to my house. I highly recommend getting here early!
The har gow was exceptional, featuring a deliciously tender and flavorful filling wrapped in a SUPER THIN WRAPPER – a rare find and my absolute favorite (10/10). I also enjoyed the meat dumplings, which were very flavorful and juicy, with a hint of corn wrapped in wonton skin. The sesame balls were perfectly crisp on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside, also very tasty.
While knowing Mandarin or Cantonese would make ordering easier, the staff's English proficiency is sufficient for those who don't speak the languages.

Quick and Delicious Pick-Up Favorites!

Deep Fried Shrimp Puffs & Island Memories
My first visit to this restaurant was a delightful experience! The deep fried shrimp puffs were absolutely soooo good – crispy, crunchy, and incredibly tasty. I ordered a 50-piece portion, and they served it on three plates, which remained crunchy even hours later.
I also tried almost everything on display, though I regrettably forgot to ask for their pork buns. The porridge was reminiscent of what we eat back home on the islands, evoking fond memories of chicken soup with rice. I'm eager to return and try their steam buns.
The only aspect that didn't quite suit my palate was the pork used in the pot stickers and pancake pork, but everything else was truly enjoyable. I understand that everyone's taste preferences differ. The staff was nice, and it's clear this place is popular, with a line outside indicating it's a must-try spot.
