Ridiculous Service and Change Incident
I went in with some family for a small lunch. We waited a while for our food, only for each dish to be brought out five minutes after each other. After we finished eating, we waited another 10 minutes for our to-go food and to pay for our meal.
When we paid cash, the server, Susan, took our change as a tip. When we asked for our change back, she insisted it was a tip and pointed to the receipt. While we did order a good amount of food and had calculated a tip, the money she kept would have been an extra $10.
We did eventually get our money back, but the whole situation was ridiculous.

Yummy food, great service, quiet atmosphere
This was my first time visiting this spot, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The service was excellent, and the food taste was so yummy. The lady was very nice to us and even allowed us to bring our dog in a stroller.
Since it was just us and some takeout orders, the atmosphere was good and quiet.

Average Dim Sum Experience
My experience at this dim sum place was pretty average; nothing truly stood out. We arrived around 11: 30 AM, and even though we were one of the few groups there, the items we ordered took a while to arrive. The soup dumplings were good, but I'm not sure I would return.

Cold Congee and Food Poisoning
My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The fish congee arrived cold, and the fish itself did not taste fresh. Following this meal, my boyfriend suffered from diarrhea for two days.
I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone who doesn't prioritize food quality. Serving cold congee is unacceptable, especially when it's meant to be hot and freshly made.

Authentic Cantonese Gem with Great Value
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had the spare rib claypot rice, beef rice noodle roll, and coconut chicken soup. After tip, the total was less than $50, which is a great price.
Everything was tasty, fresh, and retained the original flavor of the ingredients with minimal condiments. It's rare to find this kind of classical style authentic Cantonese restaurant these days, especially for those of us living in the South Bay. The owner is sweet and friendly, and the food came out fast.
The clay pot rice took about 20 minutes as it's made to order, which is a reasonable speed. I definitely recommend everyone check this place out and I will come back for sure.

Best Clay Pot Rice and Silky Rice Rolls
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's the best place in SF for clay pot rice. You can add any toppings you like, but I particularly loved the chicken, mushrooms, and spare rib combination.
They mill their rice flour in-house, which results in the freshest, silkiest rice rolls, especially the shrimp and Chinese donut ones. I highly recommend ordering those too!

Delicious Comfort Food and Friendly Service
My husband and I recently moved to the neighborhood and were eager to try this restaurant. We're so glad we did; it's a solid spot for tasty comfort food. We ordered the spare rib and the chicken mushroom clay pot rice.
Both clay pot dishes were incredibly tasty, and the rice was perfectly crispy with a delightful sauce. The lady who seated us was exceptionally friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be returning to explore more of the menu!

Tasty Clay Pot Rice Deal
My experience at the restaurant was quite positive, especially regarding the food. I found the meatloaf, spareribs and salted fish clay pot to be really tasty. My only wish is that the pot was a little bigger, as it was so tasty.
They offer a great weekday deal from 11 am to 8 pm on either the chicken or meatloaf clay pot rice for $11. 99, which is a savings of $4. The service was excellent, with a perfect score of 5, and the atmosphere was rated a 3.
We visited as a group of 3-4 people for lunch, and there was no wait time.

Exceptional Sticky Rice Experience
My experience at the restaurant was great. I'm no expert, but their sticky rice seems to be very different from average, and much better.

Excellent Food and Outstanding Service!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The service was super friendly, and the food was great. I particularly enjoyed the stir-fried beef rice noodle (gong chow au hor), which had very fresh and tender noodles.
The staff informed us that the rice noodles and steamed rice rolls (chiang fun) are house made. The clay pot rice was also very good. Be prepared to wait as dishes are made to order.
A standout moment was when the super friendly lady who served us chased us down a block away to return my forgotten leftovers – truly going above and beyond. Thank you!
