I'm a regular, visiting every Friday and Saturday until closing, and I find this place to be very nice with good music. However, my experience on a Thursday night was quite different. I only stopped in to use the bathroom, and the gentleman I spoke with was very rude. He seemed upset that I wasn't ordering food, and he watched me with a dirty look the entire time I was in the restroom and when I left, which made me very uncomfortable. For someone cleaning dishes, I suggest lowering your pride. It was just a bathroom; I wasn't asking for free service or anything outrageous. It doesn't cost you anything if I use the bathroom.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. It's a great place to chill and visit with friends, or go if you are solo. The staff is friendly too. The atmosphere was rated a 5, and the service was also rated a 5. The noise level was moderate, and the food received a rating of 4. Vegetarian options were highly recommended and clearly labeled.

My experience at this spot was great, particularly based on their happy hour menu. I found a fantastic discount on food and drink prices, with no compromises on food flavors and quality ingredients. I would advise those sensitive to spice to choose a spice level one notch below their usual, as my dish was quite hot. The music and environment were also enjoyable. I highly recommend their happy hour.

My experience at this restaurant was made exceptional by the amazing service provided by Emmie and Q. They were hands down the best service I’ve ever had, being super friendly and helpful, which truly made the whole experience great. The food and atmosphere were also rated a perfect 5, contributing to a fantastic overall dining experience. I can’t recommend them enough!

My experience on Friday night (Aug 8th) was disappointing. The bartender was more focused on chatting with friends than serving me, leading to a long wait for my drink. I was also surprised by an automatic service charge on the bill, which I suspect contributed to the poor quality of service. I wouldn't go back or recommend this place.

I wanted to share my experience tonight, which was a horrible experience. My boyfriend and I went to Sugar Hill hoping for a good time, attracted by its beautiful spot and great atmosphere. Upon arrival, we went to the bar to order drinks. Despite understanding it was busy and remaining patient, the waitress served every customer who came after us before us. We tried to signal her several times but were ignored until she decided we were worth serving. My boyfriend was astonished by her passive-aggressive behavior. To worsen matters, despite the poor treatment, I was charged a service fee. While the money wasn't the primary concern, the service was. Giving someone bad service because of their skin color or gender is unacceptable. When I spoke with the waitress, instead of listening, she spoke with a Black male server who had an Afro. He then gave me a mean, condescending look in front of another visibly shocked customer. Subsequently, two Black security guards were called. They did not allow me to explain and treated me with unnecessary aggression, choosing to believe her over me. I left feeling completely dehumanized, hurt, and humiliated. I am sharing this in the hope that life will show her that no one chooses their skin color, race, or gender. To the security guards and the server who treated me as if I was nothing, your choice to believe her instead of me says more about your stereotypes regarding women who look like you. I will never set foot in that place again and hope others are aware of the service they might receive.

My experience at Sugar Hill was truly amazing. The food was outstanding, and I haven't had anything that compares to it. The service from the bartenders was also truly outstanding.

My experience was centered around a disagreement regarding the mandatory 22% tip. I only paid for the food and drinks I consumed. I believe I have the right to amend the mandatory tip, whether I do it myself or if the establishment adjusts it. My intention is to ensure my server receives the tip I deem appropriate.
