Friendly Bartender and Great Local Vibe
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The bartender was incredibly friendly and provided numerous recommendations for activities in the city and surrounding areas. It was also great to see that the locals were friendly and outgoing. It's definitely a great place to stop for a beer and some brats.

Pleasantly Surprised by Pork Tenderloin
My experience at the restaurant was amazing, particularly the atmosphere and service. I visited around 1: 30 PM on a Monday. I ordered the pork tenderloin and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The portion was a good size, and the dish was fresh and delicious. Thank you.

Misleading Information: No Dogs Allowed
I searched for dog friendly restaurants and the pictures clearly showed an outdoor space. However, upon arrival, we were told there was no outdoor seating and no dogs allowed.

Amazing Schnitzel and Great Experience!
I had to pull into Steins for a couple of pops with Greasy the Two Timer. I overheard a group of Posers talking about how wonderful the Schnitzel is, and that's all it took for me to get some for myself. Well, it is good as a matter of fact it's Amazing! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆

Inexpensive German beer hall eats
I visited this restaurant, which has a sports bar/German beer hall style, for Game 1 of the NBA Finals. There were still some seats available. They offer a big selection of beers. I ordered a two sausage plate with fries for $15 and fish and chips for $12 or $13. Both were fairly inexpensive and tasted pretty good. One of the sausages lacked flavor, but I really enjoyed the beef one. The service was friendly.

Good Food, Awful Smell
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food and beer were excellent, earning a perfect score. However, the atmosphere was significantly impacted by a sharp mold smell emanating from waterlogged ceiling tiles, which was hard to ignore upon entering. If this issue were resolved, it would truly feel like a perfect neighborhood bar.

Impressive Service at a Neighborhood Gem
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly positive, largely due to the exceptional service provided by an Irish gal working there. She single-handedly managed a packed restaurant and bar excellently tonight. I had to write her some kudos because she took entire families' worth of orders without writing anything down, demonstrating remarkable efficiency and thoroughness. I didn't even realize there was only one person manning tables and the bar until we were leaving – it was super impressive! The restaurant also boasts a great atmosphere and great prices, making it a solid neighborhood spot.

Excellent German Beer and Goulash
My experience at this long-established neighborhood bar in the inner Richmond was fantastic. The German beer selection is superb, and the service was consistently great. They also offer a wide variety of other beverage options. While the menu is limited, it's solid. I highly recommend visiting on a day when they have the goulash with spaetzle option, as it's excellent and worth coming for on its own.
