Rude Cashier Experience
Today, 12/1/2025, I experienced rude and disrespectful behavior from the cashier, who was African American. She became very rude and unhappy if she didn't receive a tip. My advice to her is: if you're not happy, find a better job.

Great Food, Slow Service

Inconsistent Starbucks Experience
My experience at this Starbucks has been a hit or miss. I usually order an Ice shaken espresso, and while it tastes the same at other Starbucks locations, this store's version is a 50/50 chance of being consistent. Sometimes it has a mint flavor, other times it tastes like pumpkin.
Recently, I ordered a Matcha Frappuccino, but it ended up tasting like strawberry matcha, which was really disappointing. I hope Starbucks can train their staff carefully before letting them provide service.

Inconvenient Starbucks, Better Alternatives Nearby
My experience at this Starbucks was defined by its vehicle-only access. If you don't have a car or can't drive, you'll have to travel half a mile to the Starbucks inside Safeway or pay over $10 for delivery. I'd recommend skipping this Starbucks altogether and trying the several boba tea places nearby.
It's insane that Starbucks approved a location with such limited accessibility.

Safeway Starbucks Coffee is Spot On!
My experience at this Starbucks was great! The service was friendly and they moved us through the line quickly. I'm not sure why, but the coffee at Safeway Starbucks is always spot on, which is a pleasant surprise compared to other drive-thru locations.
The atmosphere was also very pleasant.

Mixed Feelings About Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mix. While the atmosphere was rated a 4 and the food was also rated a 4, the service was a significant letdown. Specifically, the black girl at the drive-thru lacked customer service skills.
On one occasion, after I said 'thank you, ' she responded with a dismissive 'yeah. ' On another, she remained silent. This is in contrast to the rest of the staff, who are consistently super nice.
She's the only one who isn't pleasant.

Rude Barista Ruined Starbucks Experience
Never in my life have I had a bad experience with Starbucks until now. The barista was condescending and unbelievably rude both at the speaker as well as the window. She berated my husband (who doesn't even drink coffee but was ordering a breve latte for me) for not specifying the type of breve.
When he asked what the difference is because he genuinely doesn't know, she got even worse and spoke to him like a child. This is AFTER I tipped almost $2 for one drink. The barista Liz should not be in customer service, but if she stays, she won't have to worry about trying to figure out how to make my breve latte again.

Inconsistent Starbucks Experience
I’ve given this place chance after chance, but something is off with their serving amount. I go to several Starbucks locations, and my drink always tastes the same. I have ordered the same thing for years, but for some reason, this Starbucks is different.
The cold foam is never actual foam; it’s always froth and a very small amount. We pay 8 to 9 dollars for a drink, and they get upset when you ask for them to remake the foam into actual foam. It’s unfortunate this is the only drive-thru in the area.
I will be going to my local grocery store Starbucks for consistency.

Mad about denied dine-in service
I tried to get dine-in service, but the girl said no. I was very mad, and my friend and I had to walk all the way to a different Starbucks. The service was a major letdown, leading to a very negative experience.
