My experience at Sportsmen Seafood was exceptional. We visited in December 2026 and it was the best restaurant we encountered during our holiday trip. We ordered the lobster meal, seafood platter, clam chowder, and ahi taco. All of these dishes were incredibly delicious and tasted very fresh. Even the rice was so tasty! We are already planning to come back when we visit San Diego next year and wish we had discovered this gem earlier in our trip.

My experience at this restaurant was perfect. I chose this place for lunch after arriving in San Diego and visiting the beach by Mission Bay because it looked local and non touristy. I really enjoyed the rice and grilled vegetables, which I preferred over fries. While I thought my halibut was tastier than the yellowtail my boyfriend ordered, the overall food experience was excellent. We sat outside, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere.
