Delicious Food, Great Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I enjoyed everything I ordered. The crunchy tacos were both refreshing and savory.
I had the coleslaw, which was the best I’ve ever had! The nachos also really hit the spot. The service, atmosphere, and food were all rated a perfect 5 out of 5.

Delicious Nachos and Horchata!
Despite it being a bit packed, we were fortunate to snag a table. My experience was great! The nachos were a highlight, featuring crispy chips, generous amounts of cheese, tasty guacamole, and well-seasoned meat.
I also enjoyed the tasty horchata. The atmosphere was wonderful, and a fun tip to remember is to take out the freaking picks 😉.

Confusing and Expensive Empanadas
I truly don’t understand this place. My experience was baffling, especially regarding their condescending attitude about the toothpick situation. They are small and brown, and the way the food is prepared makes it difficult to eat around them.
It’s as if they think it’s insane people would be confused by their somewhat useless invention. Empanadas have existed forever and don’t have this problem; they should just crimp their “tacos. ” And let’s be honest, these aren’t tacos.
Additionally, they are crazy expensive for how small they are and way too oily. Seattle’s inability to do anything Mexican food related needs to be studied. While I’m happy to hear a Ballard restaurant is getting some hype, this was a BIG miss for me.

Delicious Vegan Tacos & Helpful Staff
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I tried the vegan spicy cauliflower tacos and they were so good. The accompanying slaw side was also vegan and delicious.
They offer two rotating soups, with one usually being vegan. The first time, the soup was too spicy for me, but the staff were very helpful in gauging the spice level the next time, and the curry lentil soup was perfect. I haven't tried their weekday burrito special yet because I love the tacos so much.
The tacos are deep-fried and unique, though remember to remove the toothpicks before eating. The people who work there are great, and I loved the colorful decor. The back bar area has fun lights and louder music, which is great if that's your vibe.
Overall, a highly recommended spot!

Mixed Tacos, Great Soup
My experience at the restaurant was mixed. I tried the garlic potato and the cauliflower tacos, which were a bit too spicy and oily for my preference. However, the pumpkin coconut curry soup was great.

Delicious Taquitos and Gluten-Free Promise!
My experience at the restaurant was a pleasant surprise! I ordered the taquitos de papa and was genuinely impressed by how good they were. I'm already planning my return visit to try the gluten-free tres leches.
The food was excellent, and I'm excited to explore more of their offerings, especially the gluten-free options.

Situ: Cravable Food and Great Service
My experience at Situ was fantastic! The food is truly cravable, with the queso being a standout. The drinks from Tilda's consistently hit the spot.
Throughout our visit, we received nothing but great service. I highly recommend Situ.

Fantastic Lebanese-Mexican Fusion with Standout Nachos
My experience at this Ballard restaurant and bar, which offers a unique "Lebanese-Mexican" fusion, was overwhelmingly positive. The food was fantastic, with both meat and vegetarian options impressing me. I was particularly blown away by the brown butter beef nachos, which I found to be Michelin star worthy.
This was unexpected, especially considering we ordered a variety of dishes including all three tacos, both taquito types, a burrito, and the nachos. While everything was great, the house-made tortilla chips were fried to perfection. The staff, though a bit terse, were ultimately helpful and efficient, and the food arrived quickly.
The atmosphere was also a highlight, rated a 5 out of 5.

A Special Place with Delicious Tacos
This place holds a special place in my heart. I've dined here alone a few times, but my experience during the Dia de los Muertos parade event with a friend felt truly *right*. The chips and queso were so good, and the tacos are consistently excellent.
My personal favorite is the potato taco. They also offer two soups, which is always a welcome addition. While it is a bit pricey, the experience is definitely worth the hype.
