Great Lunch Spot with Friendly Staff
As someone who works in the market, I absolutely love coming here for lunch. The experience is consistently positive, thanks to the friendly and accommodating gentleman and younger lady who are always working. I think the food is awesome and this place truly deserves higher ratings.
While the sandwiches aren't large, they are quite cheap compared to neighboring options, which is standard for market pricing in my opinion. I LOVE Sisters' for a quick, unique sandwich. I absolutely love this place.

Disappointing Experience: Bad Food and High Prices
My experience at this restaurant was simply bad. The dirty appearance of the place was immediately off-putting. The food was mediocre, and the pricing was ridiculous.
I ordered the Ruben, which contained very little, poor quality roast beef. The "coffee cake" was like a day-old brick. The Apolloa was described as "okay" by my companion, and we both enjoyed the two decent lemonades.
For this disappointing meal, the total cost was $44. We also overheard other patrons complaining about the dry baklava. I would advise others to not waste their money.

Great Owner, Worth the Wait!
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful, largely due to the owner. He is such a nice guy, soft-spoken and genuinely cares about what he serves. While he can get a bit busy, leading to a short wait, it's a good reminder that good things come to those who wait.
I've only tried their lunch and sandwiches, which offer a good balance of sweet and savory.

Extremely Rude Staff Encounter
If I could rate this place a 0, I would. We ordered food from a neighboring restaurant and found some seating outside. About a minute after sitting, a very angry old man came yelling and putting his finger in our faces, but wasn’t speaking English.
We didn’t understand why he was so upset. Several minutes later, he returned with a plastic tray, beating it on the table and yelling at us. Apparently, the seating was only for his restaurant.
We didn’t know this, and if he would have just said that from the get-go, we would have apologized and moved. Instead, he was aggressive and rude. I have never been treated this way.
I didn’t know whether to be scared or what. Really unacceptable for an establishment to act this way.

Overpriced and Underserved Sandwiches
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The sandwiches were very small and lacked sufficient toppings, failing to impress in terms of taste. Furthermore, the drinks and food were considered totally overpriced for the quality and quantity received.

Delicious Focaccia and Friendly Service
My experience at this restaurant was delightful! I enjoyed delicious focaccia bread sandwiches, soda, and beer. The staff was friendly, and the Rubin sandwich was particularly delicious.
The vegetarian offerings were clearly labeled, and I highly recommend this place for vegetarians. The atmosphere and service were rated a 4, and the food a 5.

Overcharged and Missing Side
My experience was very disappointing. I was charged $35 for a sandwich that was advertised as $11. To make matters worse, I also did not receive the side I ordered.
The workers seemed slimy, and the pricing was definitely not right for this establishment. I would advise others to save their money and go somewhere else. Shame on this establishment!

Horrifying Customer Service Experience
I visited this location on July 25, 2025, while in Seattle with my family and had one of the most uncomfortable and aggressive customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. I purchased a simple bottle of water for $4. 99 USD.
While trying to pay, I politely explained to the older man at the counter that I was using a Canadian card that required a PIN. He repeatedly ignored me, talked over me, and aggressively insisted I tap my card — even though I calmly told him multiple times that it wouldn’t work without inserting the chip. He kept saying “no” and pushing back, and only after several failed attempts did he finally hand me the machine — all while muttering under his breath and rushing me in the rudest tone imaginable.
It didn’t end there. I took a seat at one of the tables just outside the store while waiting for my family to finish ordering elsewhere. Minutes later, this same man stormed outside, screaming at me at the top of his lungs, saying, “You only bought one water — you can’t sit here!
” He was wildly gesturing for me to leave, causing a scene in front of other customers and passersby. I was shocked, embarrassed, and shaken by his outburst. But it gets worse.
He went back inside, then stormed out again — this time screaming and throwing a $5 bill at me, yelling “TAKE IT. TAKE IT. GO!
” with such rage it left me stunned. This behavior was completely unprovoked and frankly unhinged. I’ve never been treated so poorly in any store — especially not after spending money and being polite from start to finish.
The aggressive tone, the yelling, the physical gestures, the public humiliation — it was all completely unacceptable. No one deserves to be treated that way. Do better.
No customer should leave feeling humiliated and unsafe.

Pathetic Sicilienne Sandwich
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely pathetic. The sicilienne sandwich I received had barely any ingredients. They should be ashamed to serve this.

Terrible Sandwiches, Barely Any Fillings
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing, primarily due to the food quality. The sandwiches were terrible; while the bread was decent, there were barely any fillings. I found practically no meat and only a tiny bit of cheese, resulting in no flavor.
I strongly advise against wasting your money here unless you are solely looking for bread. The atmosphere was also very poor, rated at a 1.
