Delicious food, can't wait for reopening!
I visited this restaurant a few weeks before they closed for remodeling. I am still eagerly waiting for them to open back up so I can taste their delicious food again. 🥲

Delicious Korean Food, Worth the Visit!
I forgot to take pictures because I was eating so fast, but this is my third visit alreadyㅎㅎ. I don't often go to the Kumamoto region, but every time I do, I make sure to stop by this place. I usually get tired of eating Japanese food and think about going to a Korean restaurant, but this place is even tastier than other Korean restaurants, so I don't see why I wouldn't visitㅋㅋ.
I ordered a lot of different things, so it ended up being expensive, but if you order moderately, the price is good too. Highly recommend, highly recommend again!

Comforting Kalbitang and Kind Service
I hope they open again soon. This is where I came for kalbitang when I needed some yummy comfort and I'd have enough to take home for another meal. The service is kind.
I once splashed myself with soup and the guy discreetly handed me more napkins :)

Authentic Korean Gem - A Must-Try!
This is easily my favorite Korean restaurant. While it might look a bit shabby and the menu leans towards bar-centric items, the food tasted really good. It felt like I was at a hot spot (a matjip) in Korea.
The Budae Jiggae is the best around, and I say that as someone who has been to the original spot in Korea and eaten at every famous spot in the same town. They also serve other really flavorful soups and braises. I particularly loved the spicy tofu and the galbitang, among other dishes.
Even the leftovers were super delicious!

Great Korean food, friendly service
If you're in America and tired of Western food, a Korean restaurant is a good choice. They offer vegetables and rice, and the prices are very reasonable. I really enjoyed the service and the radiant faces of the restaurant staff, which made my experience very pleasant.

Mixed Experience with Delicious Dishes
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of delicious food and disappointing service. The Beef soup and spicy chicken jokbla were absolutely delicious. However, we were disappointed to find there was no hot sauce available.
The Sea food pancake also wasn’t good. The service was a bit of a letdown; the waitress seemed defensive when we asked for hot sauce for the soup and appeared bothered when we requested soy sauce for the seafood pancake. I believe this place could be more welcoming to different ethnicities trying new foods.

Cozy Spot with Genuine, Spicy Food
What a characteristic place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The dishes are genuine. A noteworthy point is that many dishes tend to be spicy, even if not explicitly stated on the menu.
Don't hesitate to ask the waitresses if you have any doubts.

My New Favorite Korean Spot!
This Korean restaurant in Japan Town has become one of my faves! I highly recommend the Jokbal (pork feet) with makuksu (spicy noodle with veggies), boneless fried chicken, and gabitang. The owner is very kind and welcoming!

Good Food, Disappointing Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was good, and the prices were normal for San Francisco. However, the service was disappointing, even when the place was empty.
It took an odd 15 minutes for someone to get a drink from the fridge, and the server made strange comments. Recommended dishes include Seafood and Green Onion Pancake.
