As another African and lover of Ethiopian food, I wanted to love this place. Unfortunately, it wasn’t really good. The service was okay, but the food was a 4/10. The prices were high and the portions were small. I am new here, but last week I tried Adey Abeba and it was superb, with great portions and great flavors, etc. , so I would recommend them instead.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious and authentic. The gentleman working here provided excellent service, making the overall experience truly 5-star worthy. The atmosphere was also great, rated 5/5, and the noise level was quiet, making it easy to talk.

I wanted to experience food from various countries and decided to try an Ethiopian restaurant. Upon entering, the restaurant was clean and the server greeted us kindly. It seemed like all the other customers were Ethiopian, which made me feel like we had found an authentic place. Although it took a little while for the food to arrive after ordering, the dishes served on a large plate were generous and looked appetizing. We ate by wrapping the meat and vegetables with the bread underneath, though I requested cutlery as the locals seemed to eat with their hands. It appears cutlery is not provided by default. The meats were cooked to a perfect tenderness and seasoned appropriately. Even though it was my first time trying this cuisine, I could eat it without any hesitation. The lamb had a curry-like flavor that was quite good. It's a place worth visiting for a unique experience when you're tired of your usual meals. The food was easy on the stomach, and the service was good.

My experience exploring Seattle led me to one of the great Ethiopian restaurants I have encountered. Mike, the owner, was very nice and welcoming. The food menu and the restaurant atmosphere were both appetizing. I had a great experience ordering the Shewa Combo!
