How are the prices at Shaska?

On average, you’ll spend around 19 per person – from 9 guests. That puts the restaurant in the $11–$20 category. For a Cafe, that’s mid-range, maybe slightly above.

Looking at the bigger picture, prices here are a bit spread out. While many fall into the $11–$20 range, we also see a good number of diners spending less (in the $1–$10 range) and quite a few spending more (up to 30 $ or even 50 $). Just a heads-up, this is based on 9 customer reports, so while it gives us a good indication, it’s a snapshot.

Here’s a quick look at what guests spend per person, based on the latest 9 reviews. While this data is limited, it gives us a good indication of typical spending.

See how this Cafe’s value for money compares to similar spots in San Francisco.

For a Cafe in San Francisco, we think the pricing feels pretty fair. It’s a solid mid-range option that offers a good balance without breaking the bank.

Disappointing Arroz con Pollo
My experience was disappointing. I ordered the $20 Arroz con Pollo, which looked nothing like the photos provided. The rice seemed watery, and the chicken was swimming in liquid. Regarding the cream sauce, while I understand we're not in our home country, they shouldn't claim it's a cream that no one can make here. For that price, they should at least invest in better ingredients.

Tasteful Mission with Warm Staff
I've been a regular visitor at the Mission for a little over a year. My experience has been consistently positive. The place is tasteful, and the staff is very warm and friendly. The menu offers a good variety with a little bit of everything. They are also expanding with a second store nearby. If you're in the neighborhood, don't miss the chance to try it!

Delicious food and great drinks!
My experience at the restaurant was delicious. I highly recommend trying the bread with chicharrón and the tamales. For drinks, my favorite is the mixto, a blend of papaya with strawberry that has a hint of pineapple. I give it a 10/10!

Excellent 3B Experience!
My experience at the restaurant was excellent! It truly lived up to the '3B' motto: Bueno Bonito y Barato (Good, Pretty, and Cheap)! I enjoyed the Pan con chicharrón, Tamal de chancho, and the Jugo mixto with hints of pineapple. The Jugo de fresa was also fantastic. Overall, a 100/10 experience!

Good Service, Mixed Food and Drink
My experience at the restaurant was good. The attention was great, with the owner himself serving. I recommend the ceviche. However, the aji de gallina was too watery for my taste, although the flavor was good. I didn't enjoy the chicha morada, but the maracuya was pleasant.
