Excellent Service and Great Beer Selection
My experience at the bar was marked by excellent attention. They offered a good selection of craft beers. The staff were very friendly and respectful. I particularly want to highlight the professional manner in which the manager handled a situation with a drunk and disrespectful customer with great education and emotional intelligence. They were very professional.

Solid Experience with Great Service
My experience at Seven Square, located inside the Clancy Hotel, was a solid experience during a recent work trip, chosen primarily for convenience. The restaurant boasts a beautifully decorated interior with stylish, Mediterranean-inspired touches, creating a modern and upscale feel. However, the atmosphere was somewhat lacking; the absence of music and the bright lighting made the space feel a little lifeless and quiet for a dinner setting. On a positive note, the service was excellent, and the food was really good, being well-prepared and flavorful. It's a great option for those staying at the hotel seeking a convenient spot with quality food and great hospitality. A little background music and dimmer lighting could significantly enhance the ambiance.

Reliable Hotel Breakfast Experience
My experience at this restaurant was exactly what I expected from a usual hotel breakfast spot. The service was excellent, with everyone working there being very friendly. While I didn't try the buffet, the a la carte menu items were prepared precisely as you'd anticipate for a hotel breakfast. The atmosphere was also rated highly.

Caution: Tip Adjustment Issues
Be cautious when visiting this restaurant if you’re staying with the hotel, as there have been instances of tip amounts being adjusted without authorization! ***Be sure to keep your receipt and verify the amount! *** Adjusting the tip amount without permission is not only against the law but also undermines trust and reputation.

Great Vibe, Amazing Brussels Sprouts!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! As a hotel, it has a cool vibe with very chill interiors. There are several indoor and outdoor spaces perfect for conversations over a cocktail and some food. We were fortunate to be there on a night with live saxophone music, which made the evening even more special. The Brussels sprouts were amazing; I could have easily eaten another bowl. Our wine, from the happy hour list, was quite good and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this place for various occasions, including business meetings, co-worker meetups, date nights, or get-togethers with friends. I will definitely return!

Yummy To-Go Food with Great Value!
I had the opportunity to try three items from their menu, and they were all yummy! We placed the order to-go to bring to our room, and the food was cooked and placed in the to-go boxes with intention and care. We ordered the Seven Square burger with shoestring fries, the New Zealand lamb lollipops with mint chimichurri and pistachio crumble, and the kids butter pasta. The Seven Square burger was flavorful, the bun was purple and soft, and the white cheddar was melty. The burger was also cooked the way we asked, a perfect medium. The New Zealand lamb lollipops were SCRUMPTIOUS! Cooked to perfection, and the chimichurri/pistachio accompaniments elevated the flavor to a top-tier combination. The kids pasta was a simple butter pasta with parmesan cheese and was a nice big portion. It was a tasty addition as a side for the lamb. Overall, great food (even to-go) and a really great value! Will order food here again the next time we stay at the Clancy Autograph.

Questionable Billing Practices with Good Food
I do not recommend visiting this place. While I found the food to be good (rated 4/5), my experience with the service and billing was highly negative. On a couple of occasions, I was notified that my food order was ready for pickup, but no bill was provided for signature. Later, I discovered that a tip had been automatically added. Management explained this was the hotel's policy for unsigned bills, yet the bill itself was never presented, and this policy was not stated on the menu. Although they promised a refund for the tip, the entire interaction felt like I was being blamed. It seemed like the bartender and a manager were involved in some questionable practices regarding gratuity.

Delicious Dinner with Great Service
My experience at The Clancy’s Seven Square Taproom tonight was excellent. I enjoyed the Korean wings, the fried chicken sandwich, and the salted caramel bundt cake for dessert. The service was very attentive, and the dinner was flavorful and delicious. They also have an extensive drink menu.

Great Burrito and Loco Moco
I had breakfast dining in after an SF run. The burrito was an awesome size, good to share. I also enjoyed the loco moco with curry Wagyu steak over rice. The staff was friendly and helpful, assisting with getting the bill to include the $25 credit from the hotel stay.

Slow Service, Okay Food, High Prices
My experience at The Clancy was marked by a significant wait to be seated, even when there were open tables. While the food was acceptable, it also took an excessively long time to arrive. Considering the prices, I expected much better service. It's disappointing to see such a subpar establishment within the hotel.
