Serrano’s offers a compelling experience, particularly for those seeking substantial and flavorful pizza. Many appreciate the quality of their offerings, noting the excellent crust and sauce that truly stand out.

While the generous portions are a definite plus, some visitors find the overall dining experience to be a bit constrained, especially regarding the seating options. Despite its reputation as a casual spot, Serrano’s manages to deliver on its core product.

Serrano’s garners a solid overall score of 7.7, indicating a generally good experience, with customer satisfaction standing at a respectable 77.8%. This positive sentiment is built on 137 positive remarks against 34 negative ones, out of 176 total customer observations.

The standout performer is undoubtedly the Food, which achieves an impressive (8.3), consistently praised for its quality and generous portions. However, other aspects present a more balanced picture.

Both Service (6.7) and Ambience (6.7) are considered average, offering a functional rather than exceptional experience. The primary area for improvement appears to be Value, which scores a modest (4.9), suggesting that while the food is appreciated, some customers feel the pricing can be a bit steep for what’s offered, especially with additional charges like for takeout boxes.

Lets talk value! While the overall score for this aspect sits at an average 4.9, and customer satisfaction is a rather mixed 42.9%, theres a clear split in opinions based on 14 customer observations. Many customers find the prices to be quite good, often praising the cost-friendly options and the significant bang for your buck.

On the flip side, a notable number of customers feel the establishment is a bit pricey for what they offer, with some finding the high price for a single slice hard to justify. The added takeout box charge also contributes to the perception of it being on the pricier side.

Great Slice Spot for Late Nights
My experience at 🇮🇹 Serrano's Pizza and Pasta, a popular Mission District spot in San Francisco, was excellent. This establishment offers a straightforward menu of classic Italian-American comfort food. I highly recommend this place for a quick, late-night 🍕 slice. They offer outdoor seating and are suitable for all group sizes. The food received a perfect 5/5, as did the atmosphere. Service was also rated 5/5.

Serranos: Mission District Pizza Perfection
My experience at Serranos, a staple in the Mission District, was excellent. The pizza was consistently on point and perfectly crispy. The atmosphere and service were both rated a perfect 5, and the food also received a 5-star rating. It's a quiet place, making it easy to talk. They offer a large vegetarian selection and are highly recommended for vegetarians. Parking can be somewhat difficult to find, but the overall experience was fantastic.

Disappointing Pizza, Overpriced
I used to walk by this restaurant all the time and it smelled so good. When I finally decided to try it, I was really disappointed. The pizza was not great quality, and it felt pricey for what they offer. I never came back.

Best Pizza in the Mission
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially for pizza lovers. I found it to be the best pizza in the Mission. The sauce and the crust were both superb. The individual slices are ridiculously generous. If you're not getting a Detroit or deep dish, this is definitely the spot. Be aware that there is very limited seating, little more than a counter. However, that's not the point of this place. You can get a slice and eat it for 5 minutes, or get a whole pie to go.
