Great Breakfast and Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I stopped for a large breakfast on Sunday, October 26th, 2025. The service was great, the food was awesome, and the atmosphere was great. Nobody rushes guests, and the conversations with staff were a wonderful supplement to the feast for my stomach. I highly recommend this place!

Perfect Lunch Experience
My experience at this restaurant was perfect. I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a beer, the Dungeness chowder, a NY steak, and the apple tart. Everything was absolutely delicious. It's a nice, casual sit-down spot.

Iconic Venue, Best Staff, Good Food
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. It's an iconic venue with good food. The atmosphere is described as fantastic old school and historic. What truly stood out were the staff, who are the best. I still miss Sydney.

Very Good Food and Perfect Service
My experience at this restaurant was very good. I enjoyed the cream of asparagus soup and the apple walnut salad. My fiancé had fries and their lingonberry pancakes. The food was very good overall, although I found the vinaigrette with Granny Smith Apples to be too sour. The service was perfect, and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

Authentic Charm, Excellent Food & Service
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. The place has been around for a long time, and it shows in the best way, with authentically old pieces all over the interior, creating a charming atmosphere. The food is excellent, though a bit pricey, which is understandable for this city. The service is fast and friendly, making for a great dining experience. The atmosphere was rated a 5, service a 5, and food a 5.

Disappointing Experience, Not Worth the Money
I don't understand why this place is famous; everything was tasteless. The staff were not friendly, and the iced americano I ordered was watery, like two drops of espresso mixed with water – it had no coffee flavor at all. The lobster ravioli was particularly awful, so bad it made me want to cry; the strong flour taste was nauseating. Overall, it was just tasteless. Go somewhere else; it's a waste of money and time. Also, even though there were plenty of empty seats, they sat us near the cashier and kitchen entrance, which was distracting. I could hear the staff chatting right next to me.

Excellent Food, Charming Service Near Union Square
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was of excellent quality, and the prices were very reasonable for the area. The staff were charming, providing a top-notch experience. It's conveniently located very close to Union Square. I highly recommend the seafood soup and, of course, the fish & chips.
