Wonderful Experience, New Favorite Restaurant!
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful! The eat was very, very, very tasty, and the service and atmosphere were both a perfect 10/10. They have a good attitude toward customers.
This is the new best restaurant for us.

Good food, limited options
I visited this restaurant for a work conference. The food options were limited, but what was available was good, though not high-end. My experience was satisfactory given the circumstances.

Mixed Feelings on German Fare
I really wanted to enjoy my meal, especially as someone born in Berlin who loves good German food. For dinner, I ordered the Belgian Fries with aioli and curry ketchup, and the bratwurst. The fries themselves were great, as was the aioli – nice and crisp with the right amount of salt.
However, the curry ketchup was disappointing; it tasted more like a curry marinara and had a watery consistency, not like traditional curry ketchup. I didn't use it because it was just off. The bratwurst was better, though the sausage tasted different from what I'm used to, which I attribute to it being a fresh sausage rather than processed.
Unfortunately, the sauerkraut tasted like it came straight from the can and, when mixed with the mustard, overpowered the entire dish with a really bitter, sour bite that masked the flavor of the sausage. I was just disappointed that nothing really hit the spot I was expecting. AS A NOTE, I did order this for pick up via Grubhub, and the food was still hot and tasty when I picked it up!

Authentic German Food & Hofbrau Experience
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It offers an authentic German food and Hofbrau experience in SF. The dining setup features family-style tables, and if you're a regular, you can even keep your beer Stein on their shelves.
The establishment is accessible, diverse, and inclusive of all folks, making it a welcoming place for everyone.

Sports TVs Ruin the Vibe
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the presence of multiple large TVs showing sports. This aspect significantly spoiled the atmosphere for me, as I feel no German bierhall would do this. The TVs detracted from the overall vibe I was expecting.

Disappointing Dinner, Good for Games
My experience at this restaurant was pretty disappointing for a sit-down dinner. We ordered the bratwurst plate ($20), frankfurter plate ($20), and chicken schnitzel ($26). The mashed potatoes were watery and grainy, tasting like instant mashed potatoes, and the plate was mostly sauerkraut.
While the chicken was good, it was dry, and the sausages were quite flavorless. The so-called “potato salad” was oddly sour, perhaps it was more sauerkraut in disguise. Overall, it might be a good place to watch the game, but not for a sit-down dinner.

Great Service, Good Beer Selection
My experience at this 130+ year-old place was great. They finally have a good beer, a dopplebock, and the vegetarian sausage was a nice addition. The service is always great.
I love this place. Now if they only brought in the Weihenstephan Doppelbock (Korbinian) on draft, it would be perfect in the cold San Francisco weather.

Great for Drinks, Food Unknown
Since we only had drinks, I can't say anything about the food. But everything else was great, if you want to drink a German beer. Everything else was super.

Great German Bier Bar Experience
What was your experience at the restaurant? It's a nice place to eat and drink well in the atmosphere of a German beer bar. The restaurant follows the concept of a Sports Bar.
They have both German beer and local beer.
