Hidden Gem with Amazing Chilaquiles!
What an absolute hidden gem! I have no idea how this place has remained hidden in plain sight for so many years. They serve breakfast all day, with around five different choices of chilaquiles alone.
I tried Emiliano's chilaquiles, and it was fantastic. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5. The noise level was very quiet, making for a peaceful meal.

Owner's Insulting Behavior Ruined Experience
My experience at this restaurant was unfortunately overshadowed by a deeply unpleasant interaction with one of the owners. While I acknowledge this might seem petty, I once got into an argument with an owner who proceeded to insult me based on my weight and attitude. This occurred when I was 14 and I am neurodivergent.
This incident has had a lasting impact, as now, every time I visit with my grandma, she gives me a look that suggests she wishes I were dead. This personal history significantly impacts my perception of the restaurant.

Disappointing Burrito, Nice Ambiance
My experience at this restaurant was unfortunately quite disappointing, primarily due to the food. I found the burrito to be the worst I've had in San Francisco. The steak was essentially just ground beef and was almost flavorless.
Despite the service and decor being really nice, and my genuine desire to like the place, the food simply did not hit the mark.

Mixed Experience: Nice Ambiance, Disappointing Food
The place is very nice, decorated very cheerfully. However, I had a bad experience with the horchata drink because it tasted like rice water. The roasted chicken in the tacos tasted like boiled chicken, the nachos were all stale, and the tomato sauce was already acidic, on the verge of spoiling.

San Jalisco: A Taste of Mom's Kitchen
San Jalisco transports me directly back to my mother's kitchen ❤️. The chilaquiles are exceptional — perfectly crisp, smothered in rich red salsa, and full of that same love and care my mom used to put into every breakfast. 🍳 As a kid, chilaquiles con queso were my comfort dish; my mother could turn simple ingredients into magic.
She was quick in the kitchen and always knew exactly what she was doing… and so does San Jalisco. 🌶️✨

Authentic Mexican Gem - A Must Try!
My experience at this restaurant was a delightful late breakfast/early lunch. My cousins and their family have been patrons for decades, highlighting its status as a local favorite. The atmosphere and food offered an authentic Mexican experience.
My sister and I shared a huge plate of chili rejellnos with rice & beans, which was YUMMM! My cousins enjoyed their goat birria and chilaquiles, both of which looked delicious. If you're in the area and want to try some authentic Mexican food, CHECK IT OUT!

Sharp bone in enchilada - food safety concern
My experience at this restaurant was concerning due to a significant food safety issue. While the Service and Atmosphere were rated highly at 5, the Food quality was a major letdown with a score of 2. I found a really sharp bone in my shredded chicken enchilada, which is a serious concern for food safety.
This experience significantly impacted my overall dining experience.

Authentic Mexican Food in San Francisco
We visited this place in 2021. If you miss Mexican food, this is the most recommended place to visit in San Francisco. The decoration is very fitting for the place and makes you feel at home.
The owner is from the same region and a very special friend of my dad. She welcomed us with great affection. Greetings, Yosi💖

Solid Carne Asada Burrito for the Price
My experience at the restaurant was solid for the $13 price. I had the Super Carne Asada Burrito with Chips & Salsa. It wasn't impressive by any means, but it was a very good meal for the price.
The food was rated 4, service was 4, and atmosphere was 4.
