Restaurant Not Open During Advertised Hours
My experience at this restaurant was frustrating as it was not open during their advertised hours. I arrived around 8 am two days in a row and waited for about 30 minutes each time, only to find it still closed. While the first day could be attributed to a potential issue like a sick employee or running late, the fact that it happened two days in a row is unacceptable.
This wasted my time, and I would advise others not to waste theirs.

Disappointing Opening Hours
I used to love coming here, but they don’t open at 8 AM like it says. It's a bummer. Good luck.

Disappointing Black Bean Burger Experience
My experience at the restaurant involved ordering the black bean burger. Unfortunately, it was not warm in the middle, had almost no cheese, and lacked the promised peppers, onion, and avocado. The server also provided a poor experience, setting the plate down without any acknowledgment or interaction.

Still Awesome After Five Years!
I first visited Rum Jungle five years ago and gave them 5 stars. I'm happy to report that after over five years, they are still as awesome as ever. The food is delicious and fresh, the drinks and treats are delectable, and the vibes are fantastic.
The service is superb and amazing – they are incredibly attentive and pay close attention to what taste or meal you're trying to accomplish. I ordered my favorite item, the Power Wrap, and asked for no turkey. The gentleman behind the counter knew exactly what I wanted and offered a solution, which truly impressed and appreciated me.
It's also a great spot to chill and work, though not ideal for taking calls due to the good music and potentially loud patrons. It's definitely worth visiting in the PB area!

Amazing Raw Acai, Terrible Service
I came here for the raw acai, which I haven't been able to find anywhere else and find it absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, the experience was significantly marred by the lady at the front desk. She was unprofessional, rude, and haughty, making my sister and I feel very uncomfortable.
After she made our bowls incorrectly, she stomped over to look at the menu, complaining that "they keep changing the menu on me. " I found this hard to believe as I ordered the same bowl as last time. She continued to complain and slam things around while remaking our bowls, which were then light on toppings and sloppily made.
Her unbelievable behavior made us wonder if she was drunk. It was also very hot inside; I suggest fixing the AC. I'll give this place one last try, but as other regulars have noted, the quality is plummeting quickly.
Where is management? Reviews from a year ago mentioned a similar rude and unprofessional lady. It makes me question why management isn't making the necessary changes to retain loyal customers.

Disappointing Change in Quality
As loyal customers for many years, we've frequented this restaurant almost daily in the summer because the açaí bowls were consistently fresh, tightly packed, and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, this is the second time this week we've had a disappointing experience. The açaí and yogurt were just scooped in loosely and looked messy, and the fruit (especially the bananas and strawberries) was cut into big, uneven chunks instead of the usual thin slices.
It lacked the care and attention we’ve come to expect. We also noticed the usual staff wasn’t there, which may explain the change. Really hoping this isn’t the new normal, because this has always been one of our favorite spots.

Disappointing Service and Overpriced Bagel
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I was the only guest not greeted upon entry, while others of a different skin tone were. As a young Black woman, I expect to be treated with the same level of respect.
I initially wanted a green juice, but was told they couldn't make it without a reason. I then opted for a bacon, egg & cheese bagel, which was not worth $15. It had one thin egg, a soggy bagel, and shredded cheese.
While the flavor was decent, it felt more like a $5 sandwich. I also waited about 25 minutes for my sandwich. On the plus side, the music is great and the ambience is relaxing, but I wouldn't return.
